Mountain Memories is an owner managed, intimate log cabin nestled 2 miles up in beautiful Sky Harbor. Guests are urged to obtain travel insurance that includes weather and personal related cancellations during there stay. This unique log cabin is in a prime location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and is a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The cabin is in the mountains well-maintained, paved roads with some curves and has private parking in front of cabin. You will enjoy this quiet, wooded, low-traffic area with privacy from neighboring cabins. The interior boasts of beautiful new LVP floors and exposed logs with unique, handcrafted cedar furnishings displaying wood-crafting expertise. Each piece of furniture was made to accent the beauty of this cabin and its quiet, peaceful surroundings. Mountain Memories cabin is the perfect place for an anniversary retreat, a weekend escape, or a week-long vacation to relax and unwind with your spouse are small family. You will enjoy the cozy ambiance of a beautifully decorated and well-maintained mountain cabin. The kitchen also has a k cup & regalor coffee maker. You will find a fully equipped kitchen ideal for cooking if you choose not to leave the cabin during your stay. You will also enjoy nestling up on the reclining leather sofa and loveseat, in front of the gas fireplace, to watch the flat screen TV with streaming options.Fireplace is closed from April -October. You will enjoy the quiet restful sleep in the King-Size Master Suite with a memory foam mattress. You will also find a flat screen smart TV streaming options in the armoire . The jetted jacuzzi tub in the bedroom will complete your romantic getaway. For a better view of the scenery, you may choose to relax and unwind as you watch for wildlife from the hot tub on the covered back porch. The hot tub features a reclining seat. You may choose to sit in the rocking chairs as you enjoy your morning coffee or you may want to sit in the custom cedar log swing. The spacious bathroom has a shower, linen closet, hair dryer and a quiet energy efficient washer and dryer. The loft has a king size bed and a half batroom with tv with streaming options . In front of the cabin, you will find that a handcrafted replica of an old-fashioned outhouse to contain your trash so the forest animals cannot access it. The front of the cabin has been beautifully landscaped with knockout roses and various perennials. There is also a charcoal grill with a stone bench and table for your convenience. Grilling utensils are provided. A bench has been added to the front porch, handcrafted from cedar, for guests to enjoy. Great place to relax while dinner is cooking on the grill. The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is only about 15 minutes away along with the beautiful Cades Cove. Sky Harbor also has several catch and release fishing ponds for a lazy day of fishing or having a picnic.
