BEAR-A-BOUT We purchased this home because of the location, minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. Since we are not spring chickens anymore we wanted a home that had level parking and both master suites are on the main floor with no steps to climb. The downstairs is the game room with pool table . There is also a full bath downstairs. It's so comfy and cozy we fell in love at first sight. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do. The Smoky Mountains are breathtaking and there is just so much to do, whether it be hiking, skiing, bear watching, shopping, restaurants, the list is endless. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a mixer, a blender, a Magic Bullet, a toaster, a sandwich maker, roasting pan, a steamer and more. Both master suites have queen size beds with TV in the living room and all bedrooms. All rooms have plenty of lighting, got a great hot tub, enjoy checkers in the living room and sunbathe on the large 12x16 deck. Smoking is permitted on the outside decks only please and ash trays are provided. My only complaint is no smart tv in the living room and a table or vanity should be in the bathroom for storage instead of pedestal sink. I’m glad we didn’t bring our dogs because you’re on a mountain not much of a yard to walk them. It would be ok for a tiny dog. It was ideal for our family with dogs. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint is some of the jets in the hot tub weren’t working and the towels in one of the bathrooms were dusty. The owner was awesome and responded quickly. The room in the basement is a little short so beware if you plan on having a taller person stay in the basement. I could stand and I am 5ft 10 in but if I was any taller I would not be able to. The cabin is up a mountain and if you are not familiar with that beware. Also make sure to look for Boogie Bear and turn there so you don't have to turn around.This place was great especially for the price. I recommend. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatliburg.
