Cannot rave enough about this new mountain top retreat! The location is really at the top of the mountain (driving up is not for the faint of heart) we stayed in June and the end of the drive is straight up. I'd recommend the driver have nerves of steel and at minimum AWD for winter. That being said - if you make it there, it's worth it! Sunsets are stunning and sunrises just beautiful. The main floor and master bedroom are an open concept with large beam ceilings and beautiful furnishings. The owners did not skimp on anything - plenty of everything like towels (even hot tub towels), excellent appliances and full size washer/dryer. The lower level with the open bedroom/ gameroom was a hit with the adults and the 2 little ones. The bedroom down there has 2 queen beds that are very comfortable. The master bathroom design is beautiful with gorgeous tile work. The lower bathroom has a beautiful tile soaking tub with shower. The evenings got cool enough to enjoy the propane fire on the deck and the hot tub. The walk up to the outdoor firepit gives you more and different gorgeous views. Hopefully can return and enjoy that when wood fires allowed. The owners were super and responsive when we needed them. Our truck did not start as we were leaving, and the owner contacted the cleaners who were willing to buy us jumper cables and bring them to us so we wouldn't have to ask a tow service to come up. That is above and beyond in the service excellence and is a true reflection of southern hospitality. Oh - the little extras were watching the Dollywood fireworks 2 nights while there. The cabin directly overlooks Dollywood, and you can hear the steam engine blow its horn. We were sad to leave. We had 9 adults and were very comfortable there.
