It is spacious and accommodated all our needs without us being cramped. The large pantry, kitchen and dining area was especially beneficial. Bottom floor has a very private bedroom with bath and king sized bed, game room area just off of that included small fridge, sitting area, pull out sofa and small table, another bathroom, and the deck out side has a huge hot tub. You’ll have to climb stairs to the main floor so make sure whoever needs that room can do stairs. Main floor is where fireplace, living room, private bedroom with queen bed, kitchen, dining, pantry with washer dryer ironing board and lots of storage space, and a bathroom is located. The living room has pull out sofa. Climb another flight of stairs to an open loft area with a full and queen bed, and two private bedrooms with a bath in the middle. Those sleeping in loft are subject to downstairs lighting and open views of the living area. One of the private rooms has a queen bed the other has a twin over full bunk bed. We had a difficult time knowing where the beds were from the site description so I hope this will help someone else. If you’re filling the house up I’d recommend a few extra garbage bags, some pillow cases, and extra towels. We booked a stay at Foggy Meadows. The home was everything we had imagined and the view was breathtaking. We spent so much time on the beautiful porches just taking in that view! This cabin was perfect and as described. We had 12 people for two days and 6 for the remaining two days. The cabin met our needs and had plenty of room. It is located midway in Wears Valley and convenient to Townsend, Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove. Would recommend both the Sloppy Hog and Hillbillies Pancake House which are close by. The house was so charming and fit all of us comfortably. There were plenty of games for the kids to play. I didn’t get in the hot tub but I checked it out and the water was clean and hot. I chose this property because it was close to our venue and because it was not on the side of a mountain. The cute little valley where it’s located was perfect! We could get to stores and attractions easily. Loved the Mountain Views. Especially loved the neighboring cows and got to see 3 newborn calves over the weekend. The cabins accommodated all 16 people well and we had no problems whatsoever. The cabin is in a very convenient location approximately 15 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge and 30 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was extremely clean and everything worked properly.
