We stayed there for two nights (check-in on 3 June). The place was a bit difficult to find, but prior emails with Penny (the lady owner) sorted out the problem.
The studio was tidy and neat. Everything was well-thought of and well organised. A book full of information, iPad, hair dryer, iron, TV (though with limited channels), radio, WiFi, alarm clock, umbrella, etc. – we practically could find all the things we needed and more.
Though we did not opt for any breakfast, there were a new bottle of milk, cereal, biscuits, tea and coffee for us to use. There were also some freshly made cookies and brownies, and some grapes. And there were different kinds of the utensils to meet our needs should we had decided to cook.
The linens were brilliantly clean. The towels were fluffy. There was even a bathrobe, something not often found in B&Bs.
Inside the studio it was prepared better than many 5-star hotels. Outside, the surrounding was simply beautiful. The garden, the lawn were all well-kept; just like what beautiful English countryside should be. According to Penny, often there are foxes in her garden. We still cannot understand how Penny is able to prepare the place to such a high standard. Penny herself is such a nice lady; and her home-grown apple juice is a must try.
