Cayman Reef Resort is located in the best section of Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman. Nothing can compare to the crystal-clear waters and central location to all amenities. Fully renovated, our home away from home, with top-of-the-line finishes sure to meet everyone's expectations. You & your guests will love your stay in this fantastic two-level vacation home. Two screened lanais, lower with electric BBQ and outdoor dining, and upper with an outdoor lounge area. This 3-bedroom and 2-bath unit has used exclusively Serta iComfort therapeutic mattresses paired with Pacific Coast duvets and pillows to ensure a restful sleep on any of the four beds. This condo is not ideal for younger children. This condo is our home away from home and as we have three of our children, they are now young adults and the furnishings and items in the condo cater to young adults and older. The main bedroom has a king bed with ensuite privileges with the upper bathroom. The secondary bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with a single over double setup. Ceiling fans in every room and both patios plus the largest residential AC unit available that is professionally maintained are sure to keep everyone comfortable. This unit also has a whole home dehumidifier setup to help manage the Caribbean humidity when needed. We provide all linens and towels, including beach towels. Plus, we have in-suite laundry when you need to freshen up the towels during your short or extended stay. Demand hot water means you will never run out of hot water. Smart TVs to entertain when needed, and free WiFi plus a computer desk with a large screen and peripherals to allow you to connect to and create a dedicated mini office if this helps you stretch your stay a bit longer. The telephone system has both a local line for making reservations and a second line for calling the USA or Canada for free. The kitchen has everything and more you could want in a kitchen. We have outfitted the kitchen with virtually every want, from a Vitamix blender, and Keurig coffee maker to a full line of Cuisinart small appliances. All units have an Alexa device to play music and can be disabled with ease if she isn't your friend. In-room safe and USB hubs to keep devices charged. Relax in the sun, play in the sand, or swim in the ocean, Grand Cayman truly is a paradise. This condo is situated in the heart of it all, between the Ritz and the Marriott, you will be within walking distance of two grocery stores, restaurants, and the new Camana Bay Shops. The best homebase to see all the attractions Cayman has to offer with many tour operators offering SMB pickup. Luxury on the beach in Cayman Reef Resort 56 - The Sandcastle. PLEASE READ If you have not been to the island in the last year, we want to share an important aspect of our coastal landscape with you. Due to the ebb and flow of beach erosion, our beloved shoreline has transformed into a smaller beach, sometimes being detached from the busy part of SMB. Occasionally, the water may approach our seawall when the waves are active, providing a unique and captivating view of the ocean's rhythmic dance. In extreme and rare cases, we have had the water right up to our seawall. We generally have a beautiful sand entry but as noted in some of the pictures we are not always as fortunate. Loungers & umbrellas are set up ocean side or beachfront as Mother Nature permits as seen in the pictures listed. We have also added portable beach chairs and beach umbrellas for your personal use to be used on the public beach immediately north of us or anywhere else on the island. Please review the last twenty-ish pictures in detail that show the different states and sizes our beach has gone through in the last 365 days. The beach was a few steps away and very private and walking distance to the grocery store and a few little shops right across the street. The weather did not cooperate for us on this trip so it was nice to have the space in this condo. The owner has fully appointed the condo with everything you could possibly need and was immaculate. The location was near wonderful restaurants within driving or walking distance. We even had a chef come to our condo to cook for us one evening and he had plenty of room in the kitchen. The unit was impeccably clean, stocked well with towels, kitchen appliances, sheets, umbrellas, paddle board and child essentials (Gracco pack-n-play sleeper). Also wifi and TV were easy to setup and use. And the AC works great (just read the instructions, because opening a window or door will reset the smart monitor for it). The resort over all is perfectly located for food and access to Camana Bay. About 15 feet from the road entrance is a protected cross walk that leads directly to the Camana Bay Risen Footpath (allows you walk over traffic). There you can easily find restaurants, liquor stores, and Foster's grocery store. A little south of the resort are some other good restaurants for fast options (burgers, kabobs, ice cream, etc.). The pool and facilities in the resort are also great. The staff there is constantly attending to them and keeping the grounds clean. The only point a repeat traveler should note is that the beach and water is clearer and has less rocks further north on Seven Mile. If you are coming with a large group, and particularly kids, this is an amazing place. And we'd stay again. It is in a perfect location on the 7 mile beach and close to shopping. We had great snorkeling right off the beach. It is equipped with more than just the necessities. This condo was Immaculate, comfortable and well appointed. Before you go, you will receive a packet of information on the amenities and how to use them. I printed this and read it on the plane. It was of great help b/c I understood how to work the A/C, the wifi and the sound system. The host/owners were easy to communicate with and very helpful. I felt comfortable reaching out if I needed to. We had no worries and had a great vacation! We always had a chair and an umbrella. We have stayed in several of Marc Hubert's properties at the Cayman Reef Resort during the last decade. This particular property, #56, is the most luxurious. As foodies, we are particularly interested in the contents of the kitchen-appliances, knives, table settings, etc. This condo has everything we need for our cooking needs. But most importantly, Marc is an extraordinarily conscientious landlord. When we arrive at one of his condos, we can expect a call from him asking if everything is OK. We have made several trips to Cayman over the past 40 years and this unit was the best unit we have stayed in. The owner Marc made it very easy and accommodating with his constant communication. May 4, 2016 #### A great stay on Grand Cayman My wife and I arrived on Grand Cayman on Apr 23rd and again rented from the same owners that we have rented from in the past. We rented one of their 1-BR condos last year and after having a great experience, we decided to rent their 3-BR unit for this visit. We were extremely pleased to have rented from them again - the cleanliness, furnishings, appliances and information on making our stay enjoyable were just as outstanding on this visit, as our previous visit. Marc (and Monique) have figured out what it takes to be great owners of holiday rentals better than anyone and have done all that is needed to make guests' stays pleasurable, worry-free and comfortable. There was nothing missing in our condo, with perhaps one minor thing (see below) that I wish we had that wasn't already provided. Prior to our arrival, Marc made the rental and payment process a snap, and he replied promptly and completely to any questions we had prior to our arrival. Inside the condo, he also has two binders that answered any questions you have during your stay. One binder contained info on the condo itself while the 2nd binder contained all the owner's manuals for appliances. Posted in each room was a room-specific page detailing what could be found in each room as well as helpful hints on how to operate whatever appliances, thermostats, TVs, etc. were in the room. Upon arrival, Marc called to ensure that we arrived safely, that we were comfortably settled in, and if there were any questions we had. Everything in the condo worked flawlessly, whether it was the TVs, full-sized washer & dryer or any of the many appliances in the kitchen. There were plenty of TV stations available, a sound system that could pipe music throughout the condo or to selected rooms and was fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans in all rooms. The wireless network worked flawlessly and for your convenience, there is a PC, printer and fax machine provided. While not oceanfront, the condo overlooked the seldom-used resort pool from its 2 screened lanais. Seven Mile Beach is a minute or so walk from the unit. If you have never visited Grand Cayman, SMB is one of the prettiest beaches in the Caribbean (or beyond) with crystal-clear, warm water and an enjoyable place to take endless strolls each day. The only issue that we had was the TV in the MBR was Internet-only. We wished this TV could also show standard broadcast channels. We would definitely rent from Marc again!
