Amenities on property include lighted tennis courts, children's playground, and two grilling areas (Weber Grills). Plantation Village also has kayaks and bicycles for your use free of charge! This 2 bedroom, 2 ensuite bathroom unit is positioned in the center of the complex on the second floor with a pool and garden view, steps away from the famous white sands of Seven Mile Beach where you can enjoy the glistening waters and relax on a beach chair! Our beach is usually small but very private. In the last couple of years our beach has suffered some erosion, but still remains. There is a beautiful large reef about 100 yards out from the beach with a plethora of sea-life. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all of the basics as well as some nice extras such as a coffee maker, serving dishes and a blender for your fruity cocktails at sunset. Includes a 42" TV in the living room with cable, a TV in 1 bedroom, and high speed wifi in case you don't want to fully unplug. The resort provides high quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels with a mid-week towel exchange included. If you are bringing children the resort offers cribs and a highchair upon request. We also have plenty of beach toys and tennis racquets in our unit for your enjoyment. Also on property is large playground next to the tennis courts. The Master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with an attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, also with an attached full bathroom. The screened in patio overlooks the larger pool with an island. There is also a newly installed washer and dryer in the unit and a safe to keep your valuables protected. Our villa boasts its own Coral Reef right off the beach to snorkel and access to all other watersports (jet-skiing, parasailing, banana boat, kayaking, etc.) by taking a short walk to Marriott hotel. There are many reputable diving companies on the island that will provide an epic scuba diving experience. Be sure not to miss a visit to the famous Stingray City where you can swim with the stingrays! Our front desk associates will be happy to help you book any reservations you may need. Also, within walking distance is Cayman's newest development, Camana Bay, where you will find the cinema, gyms, shops, restaurants, and a Wednesday Farmers Market. You may also want to take a water taxi to Kaibo's local beach BBQ offering Caribbean cuisine and live music. Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to other parts of the island. It's also very easy and affordable to rent a car through Andy's Car Rental with locations at the airport and across the street from our resort. Just remember to drive on the left! The closest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus. If you want a good Mudslide or Beer-garita, Coconut Joe's is a local favorite sport's bar right across the street with a large outdoor patio. It also hosts most sports events on a projection screen! If you want something a bit more formal, try the Grand Old House, The Wharf, or Calypso Grill. Our condo is also on the bus route for easy access to other parts of the island. It's also very easy and affordable to rent a car through Andy's Car Rental with locations at the airport and across the street from our resort. Just remember to drive on the left! The closest supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes on the bus. Please note, we usually require Saturday to Saturday rentals for this condo. However, some months we can be flexible with this. Please contact the property manager if you would like to discuss your possible dates. The front desk at Plantation Village is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and Saturday for checkin to answer all questions during your stay. Our knowledgable, local front desk staff can also book excursions for you and take care of any other needs you may have. There is also a nightly security officer on property for your safety and to help in the unfortunate event that you lock yourself out of your room. We hope that you will fall in love with our little slice of paradise! Pool was very nice and snorkeling off the property beach was good. 7 mile beach as a whole has eroded so beach walking was not an activity for us. Centrally located to almost everything, this condo offered everything you wanted/needed while vacationing in the islands. The owner was super helpful and communications were always open to any question that came up. We are going to definitely come back for another stay in the near future. The pools were an added plus, but the paddle boards/kayaks that were always available were something we will always remember. Walking distance to many restaurants, but you'll want to rent a car to see the island and travel to beaches. All of the host recommendations were wonderful. This was our first time to Grand Cayman, so didn't know what to expect. The condo was clean and well-stocked with kitchen items and toiletries. There were two nice pools that were often quiet. We really enjoyed our screen porch that overlooked the pool area. The condo was within walking distance of many restaurants. It would be a longer walk to the grocery store. We had a car, but one could definitely get by without one. There were two beach chairs and a few toys and inflatables. As noted in the description, there is not much of a beach at the condo. We drove daily to the Governor's Beach a few miles away. There are paddleboards, kayaks, and bikes at the property, but were in need of some updating. The ladies couldn't stop talking about the decorating and we found the location to be perfect for our excursions. The only knocks we could see were facility issues. Great amenities including coolers in the unit, beach chairs, tennis racquets, outdoor grills, Netflix and Prime, full kitchen, bikes, etc. (beware there is NO hot tub but there are two pools). Apparently most of the beach was washed out recently but there is enough beach to be able to layout on the beach. The beach is no longer connected to Seven Mile beach so you walk (about 15 minutes along the side walk or drive 2 minutes) to a beach entry point for Seven Mile beach. Over all great value and great for families. Money we saved on hotel cost we spent on activities and restaurants. win win. Enjoy! ##### Joel S. They had a major storm 3 weeks ago or so and there is really no connection to 7 mile beach. You can easily walk in the side walk about 3 blocks and then cut in. Lots of public access to the beach for easy. Note the pull out couch needs a repair of sorts which worked for us but should be addressed. They had a a cooler and water toys etc which was a plus. AC is to be no colder than 74 which was ok with ceiling fans but would have preferred a bit cooler for sleeping. Nice unit over all on the second floor facing the pool. ##### James M. The grounds were kept pretty clean. The unit itself was not very clean and I had request for cleaning. There was dust on the floor, trash on the back of the murphy bed, and animal dropping on the plantation shutters. Some of the furniture were outdated and there was a cracked mirror wall. We aldo had several issues with access to the door and sink water stopper. It took maintenance several calls and requests to fix the issues. The description of the property particularly the beach is not accurate. It's tiny and has lots of rocks that make it hard to enjoy. ##### Gregory D. Bring water shoes to swim over the shallow rocks and get to the sandy part on the beach. Also bring sugar, coffee, coffee filters, and shop at Foster’s grocery store which has great sandwiches at the deli. We took a taxi to Spotts beach to snorkel and saw 2 turtles.
