The lighting isn’t good anywhere and gives it a dingy vibe. The bathrooms are also not the best. It never looked clean. The staff is really cool and fun to be around. They’re all really easy going and have a sense of humor. The general aura of the place is really positive and welcoming. The main area is immaculate with loads of comfy furniture. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are clean. The location is neatly tucked away in a quiet area which is good for sleeping. Some of the hostels in Seoul are fancier, but are really antisocial and feel stale. Jimmy, the owner, is quite a nice chap and very friendly. I had a good chat with him about lots of things. You’ll see that he treats his guests so well. Guesthouse is in Hongdae but in a quite area.
