Very walkable (under 15 minutes) to Namdaemun market, Myeondong, Shinsaegae Duty Free, Seoul Station, Lotte Young Plaza; as well as other less-thought of places like a 24-hour self-coin laundry, lots of coffee shops barely 5 minute walk away, and the TMoney HQ building. Hotel itself was clean and had all necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. Also a 24-hour sit-in dining area where you could go to relax a bit. The hotel was great! My only complaint was the beds were to firm for me comfort wise. Otherwise the shower was good-great water pressure. The complentary breakfast was fine. Rooms were clean, hallways clean and quiet. Hotel wifi could have been a bit better but I got service either by the concierge desk or their cafetera. Hotel owner was very sweet and helped us make our late night ramen and gave us some tips to cut our Dalgona cookies (really kind!). The space was everything we needed and we had a view of N tower from our room. Power and A/C are operated by room key so dont operate when you’ve left for the day. Great location. Easy walk to Namdaemun Market and lots of eateries. Close to Namsan Park/Tower (we didn't have time to visit ourselves). Close to buses and subways. Room could have used a little more dusting. Overall room was sufficient. It seems pretty common among the bathrooms in accommodations to not have curtain/door to separate shower area, this the whole bathroom would get wet. This is not an issue at Lumia as the shower has a door and is decent size, one of the reasons we have picked Lumia over a few other options we had in mind. Would have been nice that instructions for the washer/dryer are posted by the machines as we had a hard time figuring out the buttons and dials, all labelled in Korean. Staff said just stuck a towel to prevent it from opening. Bathroom door is not lockable. 2. Light in the bathroom is on timer. It auto shut off the lights and ventilation after like 30mins. It was a rude shock to get a blackout bathroom halfway through your bath. 3. Room door is open outwards type and cannot be secure from inside. (No additional latch). On the first day morning housekeeping staff just opened my door while I am still in the bathroom. And again someone tapped their key trying to open my room the next early morning. Felt so insecure as you can’t secure your room door properly when you’re in the room. 4. No staff around in the hotel. Everything is through machine for check in and check out. (Although you only see one of the staff once during check in). Calls went unanswered. We have to go to the reception area to get help for a clog toilet bowl. 5.
