The shower was dirty and had black buildup around the edges. There was a slipper stuck underneath the bed. I found it on the first evening we were there, and I could tell it was there for a while based on the indentation the bed leg made on it and the amount of dust accumulated. The hallway was also very dusty. I wish I took a picture of the dust I wiped up on a box that was sitting in the hallway. Our thermostat was broken. The temperature of the room was 78F, and I turned it down to 73... It did not go down and we notified the front desk. They did nothing about it, so we had to open the window to cool down the room. Mind you, we were there when the weather was high 40s/low 50s. At check out, we reminded them of the thermostat, and the staff disregarded our comment. They advised us to "make a review". Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

It is conveniently located in famous GangNam district as in "GangNam Style". I picked this one because I stayed at the airport ibis. That one was very nice. This one is showing a lot of age. The staffs are wonderful.

Cozy and convenient to stay
This hotel is very eco-friendly and cozy to stay. The service is well organized and the people are nice. The location is quite close to the mainstream of Samsung-dong and very convenient for public transport.

PROS: Lunch buffet was great; walking distance to a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and convenient stores; room layout & style are modern; well lit room; we arrived at the property hours before check-in so concierge watched our bags while we toured the area; toilet bidet was awesome; express checkout CONS: Property restaurant does not serve dinner and the bar closes at 5pm; bathroom layout is awkward where a sliding glass door opens to the shower but closes on the toilet and vice versa; our toilet was not flushing properly; bed & pillows were uncomfortable; had difficulty controlling room temperature

The lobby was fine, the rooms were basically ok but very dirty. I found tons of hair under the sink, and there was a lot of mold. The room was big enough for 2 adults. The location was stellar though....we could easily walk to COEX, restaurants, the subway and use taxis for many locations.

Everything was OK, but the space was too small for us to stay. So we have changed the hotel later due to this small space for 2 people. However, the area was very nice and quiet and the dining in the morning was excellent.

Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Cons: The towels are hard. there's no individual AC. I'm a perimenopausal woman and i spent my entire trip sweating because it stayed almost 80 degrees in my room. It was really uncomfortable. i'd ask them to turn it down and they would "call the engineer." It would cool off for an hour or so and then go back up, so i just quit asking.

Another great stay at this ibis. The staff are always so friendly, especially the breakfast lady staff who recognized me after a couple of days and remembered my room number and the breakfast chef who fried a fresh egg for me upon request, even though there were more eggs already on the tray, because I wanted it well-cooked. The front desk also stored my luggage over the weekend while I traveled around locally. Thank you.

Great place to stay near COEX mall with tons of restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast costs almost CAD25 per person, which is rather high for the choices available. I usually get breakfast included but this time I stayed without breakfast even though I paid a higher price than when I stayed with breakfast previously in the same month.

Nice rooms and good location.
Good quality hotel, nice rooms, comfortable bed & pillows and good bathroom. Felt spacious and comfortable. But, the bar/restaurant was always closed and despite showing a sauna on their website, this feature is not available.

The property was not located close to the main hub in Gangnam where all the buzz is. It’s about 10min walk to a train station. The staff most of the time was unhelpful, except for the guy that tried to organise a taxi for us, Jable, he was the most helpful. The rest just usually say no it don’t know when you ask them a question. The housekeeper doesn’t refill tissues or toilet papers and when we called the reception for some they didn’t seem to want to give us any. It is not a bad hotel but I would pick a different one next time.
