However, given the price, I didn't have high expectations. The toilet tank cover was plastic and didn't fit in place. The tub looked worn from years of use. The room was dated, but it was clean overall and functional. If you're looking for privacy and a good nights sleep, this is a good choice. Location was excellent. It is one block away from the subway (orange line). Since the hotel was a block away, there wasn't much street noise in the room. For solo travelers who don't want to stay in a hostel, but aren't too fussy with the condition of the room (eg. dated bathroom), this is a great choice mainly because of the location. Staff was very friendly. Check-in was easy.
