Nothing like the photos Run down and in terrible condition should not even be listed on any site. Nobody should ever be able to stay here. Mould in rooms, paint coming off walls, main pool green, pool in room tiles pulling up and pool dirty, staff lazy, no dinning as listed. No breakfast as listed. All out a dump and will never recommend for a dog at even stay there.

The Junior Suite has a size of 44 sqm and is equipped with twin bedding, a study desk, microwave, large fridge. The Junior Suite has an en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and designer amenities. A perfect room for single travelers. This is what the hotel claims on their website and it is not a correct. Expedia has this hotel listed as a 4 star hotel. I was so disappointed with this hotel I checked out after 2 nights. Despite the fact that I confirmed twice with the hotel for an airport pickup (including on the day of travel) there was no one waiting to pick me up. I phoned and messaged the driver - no response. I had to rely on the kindness of another driver to assist me. After one hour an alternate driver turned up there was no apology. I asked to speak with the manager, however he never made contact with me. As an apology for making me wait an hour at the airport in extreme anxiety, I was offered one ticket to their New Years Eve dinner. When I walked into the reception there was no greeting both staff looked up from their phones and said, "Yes". The bathroom smelt like sewerage, the towels were worn and grey, there was a huge cockroach in the shower. The mattress was like sleeping on a plank of wood, there was no microwave, and no full sized fridge. The air conditioner was not adequate for the room size & didn't cool the room. The property and Expedia have a responsibility to accurately represent the rooms they sell & as such I request a refund.

Great service and great location. For the location you get a great price. If you don’t need to be right on the beach, this will be a great place since the room is spacious and close to restaurants and nightclubs in Seminyak.

Lovely villas

Lovely villas in a nice quiet area of seminyak. Very good for the price. Rooms very dark and shower could have been better but other than that, a very pleasant place to stay. Would recommend 👍

Economico ma senza grandi pretese

Hotel con pochissimo ospiti, pulizia delle stanze e degli spazi comuni ok, ma struttura vecchia. Bagno con odore un po’ fastidioso di conseguenza. Lenzuola e accappatoi lavati e profumati, ma con ancora precedenti macchie parecchio fastidiose. Colazione variegata e sempre differente al mattino il cibo a disposizione, comunque mediocre. Staff gentile e disponibile. Posizione della città buonissima sia per vicinanza alla spiaggia, beach club sia per vicinanza a vite piene di ristoranti e locali dove trascorrere la serata. È vero che per il prezzo molto economico della stanza (abbiamo preso una junior suite) non si dovrebbe avere molte pretese, ma per 2 euro in più a notte siamo stati anche in un altro hotel a seminyak eccellente a confronto!

lost it's charm.

stayed there for 2 weeks. up graded to to a private pool villa. condition of room and pool was not a 4 star quality , air-conditioner not working well , no hot water, staff was very loud around the hotel. food and breakfast was a one star quality , not happy at all.

We enjoyed our stay at Marbella!

We love love love our stay at Marbella. There was a little mix-up with the airport transfer, but they really made up for it by treating us like royalty throughout our stay. We loved the friendly and forthcoming staff, the location and the layout of the villa. In fact, we checked out after 5 days and checked into another villa for the next 5 days of our stay in Bali...and we instantly missed Marbella!

There is no pool side bar nor do you receive complimentary designer toiletries in your room as the descriptions says on hotels.com - also the restaurant was closed by 6pm so no options to eat in site. The staff are wonderful but the building itself is very run down and in need of painting and maintenance. Not really good value for money. The restraint next door however does nice food.

Nice hotel

Overall experience was good, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice with the private pool however it could do with tidying up around the edges. The bed was quite creaky which was a bit disconcerting and the private pool needs proper steps not one huge step to get in and out of.

The villa was nothing like the photos on line

I was so distressed seeing the villa, it was nothing like the photos on line, we had to find other accomodation at 10pm at night, as we were not prepared to stay in such an old dirty run down room. It nearly wrecked our holiday we just had to try to forget the whole experience, and hope to get a refund. It was frustrating not being able to contact Expedia We could not ring the Australian number from Bali, and the indonesian number was not english. I had to email my daughter to ring Expedia the next day to notify them that we cancelled our accomodation at Marabella Villas. We could have been in big trouble if we didn't have enough funds to book other accomodation. Not a good experience.

Had an amazing stay at the hotel, staff were all so great and helped arranged activities and always so friendly. Rooms and hotel overall were super clean and looked after. Had a great first trip to Bali because of them!

Gute Lage aber dennoch Unzufrieden!

Das Hotel befindet sich in Seminyak unweit vom Strand entfernt, gut mit dem Roller zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber die Einteilung und Einrichtung sind unsinnig. Z.B. haben die Zimmer ein eigenen Pool der aber überdacht ist und somit ziemlich kalt und unsauber. Das Frühstück war schrecklich. Die Donuts hatten teilweise sogar schimmel und der Kaffe war auch nicht der beste. Also nicht gerade empfehlenswert.

Good hotel with excellent service!!

Cattleya is a beautiful mini-resort in a nice location. The service is excellent with warm and ever ready to help staff. We took a two bedroom villa with open air swimming pool. The villa is luxurious spacious and clean. Lots of wood, glass and porcelain has been use making it look fabulous,and privacy is guaranteed. The bedding is very soft and comfortable. However, the maintenance is not up to the mark and left a blot on the overall experience. One of our rooms could not be locked as the latch wasn't functioning. The living room furniture is old and a bit creaky. One of the bathtubs taps didn't work properly. Outside in the main garden, the cushions on the garden chairs are dirty and covered in stains. However, the staff is excellent. Very helpful and always smiling. They could help us out with various requests and we had no complains. Breakfast spread is decent. At night the resort looks beautiful with lights all over the garden. Its also close to lot of restaurants and mini marts yet away from all the noise. Overall, the beauty, staff and location of the hotel outweigh the maintenance niggles. And we got an unreal deal for the rooms so I must count myself very lucky!
