There was a cockroach in my room, the bathroom was filthy and the sheets were sticky. However, the staff are so wonderful and lovely, and the pool is nice.

Hotel is in disrepair, shower leaked everywhere, no balcony or operable window, insects throughout the room made worse by the staff leaving treats daily, pool bar never open, no music at pool bar. Bar restaurant was expensive and service was terrible. Food took 1 hour. Air con in room was left on permanently and still never cooled room. Unfriendly porters. Generally no atmosphere at hotel amenities. Couldnt charge breakfast to room so never went after first day. Roof top pool and facilities rubbish. Staff never left reception desk. Couldnt change room at a clearly half empty hotel. Never even asked how our stay was upon departure. Will not be back.

Hotel itself was very clean and rooms were lovely. Area was really out of the way and meant a ride to anywhere decent - very expensive to eat anywhere local so ended up travelling to Kuta or elsewhere where far cheaper. Hotel swum up bar never had any stock so ended up purchasing from the mini Matt across the road and serving ourselves which was kind of ridiculous.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and the hotel is in generally good condition. The choice of rooftop or ground floor pool both swim up bar is nice, and the ground floor pool is huge and perfect for swimming laps. Overall was a good stay and decent value for money. The only negatives were that the sheets were clean but did some have some stains and there were traces of mould beginning in the bathroom. There is a small gym with about dozen machines and a spa which I did not get get time to try a massage this trip

The hotel room when you walk in looks clean ( by just looking) but it is not. I always wipe the high touch areas such as light switches, table tops, phone, door handles, bathroom counters with clorox wipes to disinfect and all the wipes were black from surface dirt that was not visible to the eye. I had to use multiple wipes to really clean which means they just clean very superficially, making the room look clean but they are not.
