A coastal village for family vacation
The property consists of hotels and apartment houses that were built at different times, but seem recently renovated. Villa Adria is separated from the beach with a walkway that is full of restaurants and the main tourist drag during evenings. A grocery store is in the building and a pharmacy a block away. The main disadvantage is that the beach gets crowded in the summer. It’s a nice place for family vacation if you don’t like resorts, but prefer an apartment in a Mediterranean village.

This perfect example of you paying for the location. The Villa Adria is on of 4 hotels owned by popular Croatian chain in the area. This one is a converted apartment building. The good is it great location right on the beach. If that is what you want then it perfect. Otherwise is very underwhelming, It is not a 4 star place rather a 3 or maybe 2. But very functional. You get to use the amenities of the other Hotels and they are fairly good. If I had to do again I would have stayed in one of them. The staff was nice and friendly.

Nice hotel on the beach
Nice and quiet area next to the beach with a long promenade. Various restaurants and shops nearby. Our hotel was an annex 100 m from the reception at another hotel, 300 m from the (vers large) breakfast-room at a second hotel and swimmingpool (outdoor/indoor) facilities at a third hotel! We were NOT aware of those things, when we booked the hotel. Overall a very good hotel to the price, though.

Nice hotel close to beach
Beautiful place to stay but really busy. Lovely beach across the path and nice room with good air conditioning. Lots of good restaurants handy and shops to browse. Had a amazing massage at the wellness centre. All in all wonderful place and I would stay there again.

Excellent place to stay, right on the beach front!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The town is quite small, so it was pretty easy to get around - but the GPS tried to direct me to a street that is blocked off for pediatricians only. Because of that, and because of a few one way streets, I stopped at a local Tourist Info site for help. Once at the hotel, I would like to say the hospitality was outstanding. The two that stood out the most were Martina at Reception (she was incredibly nice and helpful - wonderful) and the cook/chef, Ezio - who went out of his way to assist me unload my car. And at breakfast he continued to be just as friendly - wonderful personality) The atmosphere was VERY friendly, and my room was RIGHT on the beach. I could not ask for more. If given the chance, would go out of my way to stay at this location again.

I have not been in a better Hotel in EU. The rooms are designed perfectly specially if u are a large group and need to do some cooking, there is a small grocery store right underneath the hotel with best prices I found in EU. The three front desk employees I encountered spoke very good English, were extremely helpful and polite. The Hotel is right in the center of Baska beach. The rooms have internet but not wi fi, take your lap top. There is wi fi in the restaurant with space to sit.

nice structure in the beautiful Baska
The stay was nice. the position is just perfect to enjoy Baska. the only relevant problem (due to a very bad weather) was that both the restaurant for the breakfast and the SPA, mentioned both as facilities of the hotel, are instead in different structures that requires a brief outside walk. not a big deal, but it was not very clear in the hotel description. no matter this, a very nice stay. thanks

soggiorno molto rilassante.
Sono partito per passare qualche giorno in totale relax. Credo che Baska in questa stagione sia l' ideale. Appartamento con vista mare veramente unica. Gente molto cordiale e discreta. Colazione in albergo molto soddisfacente e buona disponibilità di ristoranti/trattorie con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Kein Hotel sondern Appartmentgebäude
Die Villa Adria ist eines von mehreren Gebäuden, die allesamt zu einem Hotel gehören. Die Zimmer "zum Park" sind extrem laut. Der "Park" ist ein ca 20 Quadratmeter großer Grünstreifen, der durch eine Thujenhecke zur Straße hin gesäumt wird. Gegenüber ein Restaurant mit Terrasse, und linker Hand die Anfahrtszone zum Supermarkt, der sich im gleichen Haus befindet. Vom Supermarkt bekommt man nichts mit, aber von den Lieferungen. Obwohl das Haus mit "Hundefreundlichkeit" wirbt, findet man in der gesamten Umgebung sehr viele Hundeverbotsschilder und keine Grünstreifen bzw. Freiflächen, auf denen man dem Hund "ausführen" kann. Pro Übernachtung werden unverschämte 20 EUR pro Tier berechnet, wofür man keinerlei Gegenleistung wahrnimmt. Vielmehr wird beim Check-In gefragt, ob es sich um ein "liebes" Tier handelt und man erhält eine Hunde-Haus-Ordnung, die im Prinzip zusammengefasst festhält, dass man mit Hund eigentlich nirgends hin soll, und er nicht alleine im Zimmer zu lassen ist. Hundestrand ist ca 2 km entfernt, und eigentlich nicht wirklich nutzbar. Kein Schatten, grobe und teils auch scharfe Steine. Zusammenfassung: Für Hundehalter absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Die 20 EUR am Tag sind unverschämt. Hundestrände eher in Punat oder KRK zu finden. Das Parkzimmer extrem laut. Preis / Leistung für die Villa Adria eher schlecht.

Gutes Hotel direkt an der Strandpromenade
Mein Freund und ich haben Ende September eine knappe Woche im Hotel Villa Adria verbracht. Dieses Hotel gehört zu einer Reihe anderer Hotels in Baska, in die gewisse Service-Angebote ausgelagert sind, aber auch nur ein paar Häuser entfernt sind. Im Hotel Atrium Residence checkten wir ein und aus, im Hotel Zvonimir fand das Frühstücksbuffet statt und im Hotel Corinthia konnten wir die (Indoor- und Outdoor-)Pools kostenlos benutzen. Für uns war dieses Hin- und Her kein Problem, aber für ältere Leute könnte ich mir das vielleicht etwas umständlich vorstellen. Die Hotelangestellten (der anderen Hotels) waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Hotel Atrium Residence trafen wir auf deutschsprachige Angestellten beim Check-In und -Out. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und reichhaltig, es war auch bis 11 Uhr immer noch genug da. Das Zimmer war groß (ein Appartment für 4 - 6 Personen, das einzige noch verfügbare zur Zeit der Buchung) und bis auf ein paar Kaffeepulver-Überreste unter der Kaffeemaschine auch recht sauber, die leider bis zum Ende des Aufenthalts nicht beseitigt wurden. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Der (beim Check-In angekündigte) Meerblick war nicht ganz gegeben bzw. nur von einer bestimmten Stelle auf dem Balkon, da ein Gebäude davor die Sicht etwas versperrt hat. Ansonsten ist die Lage des Hotels aber echt super, ein Eingang führt direkt zur Strandpromenade - man muss also nur einen kleinen Weg überqueren und ist am feinen Kiesstrand.

Tolle zentrale Lage
Die Villa Adria liegt nur 20 m vom langen Kiesstrand von Baska. Die Gegend um Baska bietet neben Strand und Meer auch tolle Wandermöglichkeiten mit grandiosen Aussichten. Das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr schön und mit guter Ausstattung. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war der viel zu schmale Balkon ohne Meerblick, der nur ein paar unbequeme Hocker geboten hat. Die Balkone der Zimmer deas Hotels mit Meerblick wären größer und mit besserer Bestuhlung gewesen. Das gebuchte Frühstück musste in einem ca. 300 m entfernten Hotel eingenommen werden. Der Fußmarsch war aber kein Problem und wir wurden durch ein reichhaltiges sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet entschädigt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Fast alle sprechen Deutsch.

Wunderschönes Appartement direkt am Meer
Das Appartement war sehr schön. 1 Wohnzimmer, 1 Küchenecke mit Kühlschrank und Gefrierfach, 1 WC und 2 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem großen Bad und WC. Vom großen Balkon und einem der Schlafzimmer hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick aufs Meer. In jedem Zimmer befindet sich eine Klimaanlage. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gereinigt. Das Frühstück, das sehr reichhaltig war, nahmen wir im Hotel Zvonimir ein. Das einzige was zu bekritteln wäre, ist der total überfüllte Strand. Teilweise wurden schon um 06.00 die Plätze am Strand reserviert. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder (allerdings in der Vor- bzw. Nachsaison) dieses Hotel buchen

Geräumiges Hotel sehr zentral und direkt am Strand
Das an und für sich sehr gut ausgestattete Apartment ist durch den Ausfall der Klimaanlage, während des gesamten Aufenthaltes und das bei Temperaturen um die 37 Grad fast unbewohnbar (vor allem Nachts) geworden. In diesem Zustand ist das Hotel nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

Stor lägenhet med 2 stora separata sovrum med kingsize-sängar, 2 toaletter/bad, kök, vardagsrum och balkong med havsutsikt. Kanonläge vid stranden. Bra frukost och fint poolområde ett par hundra meter bort men det var inget problem. Hotellet och vistelsen i Barska var klart över förväntan

Tyvärr så fungerade inte alltid airconditionen. Dörrkorten fick bytas ofta pga att de avmagnetiserades när de låg tillsammans med mobiltelefonen. Wifi inne på rummen genom kabel fungerade sällan. Gick man ut i korridoren så fungerade det trådlösa wifi ok. Fick skamligt förslag när jag gjorde Tai massage.

Ottimo appartamento fronte mare, con due camere ognuna con il proprio bagno. Molto pulita e ben accessoriata la cucina (Pentole, piatti, bichieri). Molto silenzioso e armonioso nel complesso. Ottima la colazione, forse un po meno la cena, ma si può scegliere tra vari buffet.

die Stühle am Strand gehören allerdings nicht zum Hotel wie am Bald wohl suggeriert wird. Abenteuer-Aspekt: Frühstück gibt's drei Häuser weiter im Schwester-Hotel. Bei wolkenbruchartigen Regenfällen durchaus eine Herausforderung.

Struttura alberghiera (Baska Hoteli) ramificata per garantire un'offerta davvero eccellente di servizi. Le camere sono grandi e confortevoli, con particolare ricercati e di pregio. Ottimi i servizi, dall'accesso internet in camera alla colazione abbondante, alla vicinanza con il mare da sogno. segnalo inoltre la calda accoglienza per il cane che ci accompagnava. L'italiano è comunemente compreso e parlato.CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

Bien placé mais parking à distance et payant. Ne mérite pas les 4 étoiles car la piscine était dans un hotel voisin (celle extérieure était glacée et celle intérieure était bondée). L'appartement aurait été parfait si nous avions été un couple, mais comme nous avions nos 2 enfants, il a fallu dormir sur le canapé lit... ce qui devenait problématique car le salon devenait alors minuscule. Les fauteuils qu'il fallait déplacer obstruaient alors les lieux de passage. Bref, peu adapté pour une famille.

Beatiful view!
We got a room with a view to the sea, and what a view! Big rooms and also everything thats needed. Two bathrooms, big double beds. Extra bed was for children, not if you're 1.90cm like me. Unfortunally the air condition crashed on the first day, only one of three ac worked, I phoned and got two big extra fans in just an hour so we managed to sleep with that and had that for the rest of the stay. The beach was 20m away, pool area was in another hotel maybe 300m away. Nice village, market to shop food in the same buildning but if you went for a walk a couple of blocks away you'd find cheaper food in ather markets. Recommended!

Trevligt hotell förutom att vi bokat ett trebädds rum för 3 vuxna och den 3e sängen är ca. 1,50 lång?? Städningen på rummen sådär.

Un merveilleux appartement avec magnifique vue sur la mer
Cette résidence hôtelière est très récente (construction en 2008), et très bien située sur la ballade du bord de mer de la ville de Baska. Il y a une superette juste en bas de l'immeuble, et de nombreux (très bons) restaurants. L'appartement est équipé de 2 chambres, avec écran plat (chaînes en allemand et en croate), avec chacune sa salle de bain et la vue sur la mer !!! La kitchenette est suffisamment équipée: micro-conde, plaques électriques, frigo, cafetière, ustensiles de cuisine. Le personnel est vraiment vraiment sympathique, mais il faut parler anglais ou allemand. J'allais oublié la piscine située à 500 m de l'hôtel: piscine intérieure à 27 °, extérieure et salle de muscu. La voiture est indispensable si on veut découvrir l'île de Krk: prochain village à 25 minutes en voiture...
