Saltwater Frontage - Spectacular Views - Secluded, quiet, and peaceful
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to get away from it all, look no further than this secluded waterfront vacation home on the Strait of Juan de Fuca near Sekiu, Washington.
This rugged and beautiful part of the Northwest Coast is located just 35 miles from Forks, Washington, and about 20 miles from the trailhead of Shi Shi Beach, considered one of the best wilderness beaches in the world. We are also close to Cape Flattery, the most northwestern point in the continental US, (the beginning of the world). Our little piece of paradise is a great jumping off spot for visiting all points of the Olympic National Park, whether you want to soak your cares away at Sol Duc Hot Springs, visit the giant and ancient moss covered trees of the Hoh Rainforest, or hike one of the many beach or mountain trails. We're close to the Sol Duc River, famous not only for steelhead and salmon, but now as the home of the Cullen family.
Just want to relax? Sit on the deck of this well appointed home and watch the ships go by, eagles soar overhead and whales cruise the coastline. Beach comb for driftwood, rocks and shells, and explore the many tide pools right in front of the house. On a clear and moonless night, be amazed by the brilliant stars and the Milky Way. And nothing is as wonderful as the cool, fresh air, and the sound of the crashing waves.

We loved our stay at this lovely home. It is the perfect location for so many fun destinations and activities. The beach is amazing as well. We hope to be back.
Saltwater Frontage was indeed beautiful, secluded and peaceful. The home was well stocked, clean and comfortable, just what I needed for a summer break. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the west side of the Olympic National Park.
Stayed for a week right after the holidays. Very secluded and quiet and absolutely gorgeous area and views! Beach was beautiful! Just what we needed after a very long year. Cabin was very clean. Host was very friendly and helpful.
The quietest vacation I have ever been on. House was great and the view was breathtaking. Was here for seven nights and the property was so nice only left to get groceries in Forks. Will be back again.
The property description is very accurate - it's secluded, cozy, quiet and if you're looking for quiet and peace, this is the place! It's clean, spacious and offers a lot of outdoor space for pets, if you're bringing them. Our only cons are: no TV or radio, and the games provided are fine but some are very outdated or are missing key components needed to play, and the directions were confusing, especially in the dark. Apart from this, I recommend you bring groceries because there aren't much available stores around.

Beautiful But Remote
The property is located right off a beautiful private beach and has a serene feel to it. It is remote with very few amenities in the immediate area, so be sure to bring groceries so you are able to prepare your own meals or be prepared to drive to Forks (45 minutes) or Port Angeles (55 minutes) for restaurants. The property has everything you need, a fully functional kitchen and a washer and dryer. Although it has a propane grill, only two burner rods were (poorly) working so we ended up just using the stovetop. The only other downside was the toilets in the bathroom which are on the small side, they seem child-sized versus adult-sized. Overall the property has more positives than negatives. It is a beautiful location, great beach access with lots of tide pools to explore, nicely furnished, and the hosts make your stay comfortable and inviting. your own meals
What an amazing stay. Our boys loved it just as much as we did. Pictures do not do this place justice. It's much bigger than it appears. And the beach provides hours of relaxation and exploration.
We went to Hoh Rain Forest, Second Beach, and Cape Flattery - highly recommend all three!
We arrived in the pitch of night so finding this uniquely situated VRBO was tricky and a bit frustrating. Would suggest the driving directions be more about where TO go with less about where not to go, but we figured it out and in the light of day it's very straightforward and easy to navigate. Also, if coming in at night, Highway 112 is no joke with all the hairpin turns! Just take your time and you'll be fine.
Definitely would stay again and will recommend to all our friends. Hands down the best vacation we've had in over a decade.
This is quite remote but so beautiful you don't want to go anywhere. The beach was easy to walk to and our dog enjoyed that as well. The views across to Vancouver Island were incredible. It was a perfect spot for a winter getaway
Wonderful place to take a vacation. If you like to avoid the crowds and just relax this place was amazing. We loved exploring the tide pools and having a calm, peaceful place to stay/ return to after adventures. It is a long drive out to the house, but ended up being a decent location for the activities we were wanting to do in Olympic National Park.
Perfect getaway. We now spell awesome - Allens Beach Hideaway! Clean, comfortable, get away from it all. We’ll definitely be back and looking forward to it!
