We have stayed at several homes on lake McQueeney and this is the first time we got one in such a bad area and bad experience. The home said no pets and there was pet feces throughout backyard.The first masterbedroom bed was broken and looked like they just tried to put some crews to hold it up I reached out to the host about it and didnt get an answer until checkout so we were left without an extra room to sleep in. Jacuzzi was filthy and water left clothes smelling really bad. Water in river was very very low. Pans in kitchen need to be replaced! They are the throw me out kind. So if cooking bring your own pans! The doors going in and out of house had dirty hand prints on them. There were no cleaning products like disinfectant wipes the fire alarm in MB need batteries went of for two nights, the key pad on door only worked the first day. The house was beautiful I will give it that. But not clean bad area wouldn’t stay there again. ##### Stacy R. We lost electricity for about 5 hours but our stay was still AWESOME! No way to control the weather so we give this place five stars!Only one small suggestion, need a big pot to cook larger quantities. We needed a pot for pasta. The house was well equipped for river fun, just wish the water had been a little higher. This property is very kid friendly which was super helpful! The kitchen could use a few more pots/pans and the grill could be a little bigger for a big group like ours. The washing machine knob was broken so we were unable to wash any towels or clothes :(. The host did pick up towels and bring clean ones back. Our WiFi went out after the first day & we were unable to get that fixed after messaging. I am currently trying to get in touch with the host regarding AirPods that were left behind in an upper bunk, but have not been able to reach them. Maybe they will see this review and call me. Great property (The house is behind a secure gate which was added security & we were glad about that). ##### Charlotte P. The rooms were superb. Two bunk rooms and two king rooms. Everything was clean. The beds and living room were comfortable to hang out in. The backyard and dock on the river was great.
