Step outside and experience a slice of paradise on the water. The back deck and upper balcony provide breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River, perfect for watching the ever-changing hues of the sunset. Dive into the peaceful river, perfect for wading, floating, and water sports. Kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing await right at your doorstep. The river is known for its excellent fishing, with species like bass, blue cats, and channel cats populating the area.  
Easily access the water via the boat ramp on the adjoining property, where you can launch kayaks, paddle boards, and other water toys. The shallow, slow-moving waters (averaging 2-5 feet) are ideal for relaxing on the water and enjoying the natural beauty of the river.  
  
Please note: Water levels in the area are currently lower due to repairs on the Lake Placid Dam, but the setting remains perfect for water activities and enjoying the peaceful flow of the river. Pictures reflect current water levels.

8 adults and 4 kids stayed in the home Plenty of room for everyone, the house is very welcoming and has the things you need for your stay. We were able to check in a little early too, host was great at responding. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place, highly recommend.

This house was great for our family! The game room was one of the main reasons we selected this house and it didn’t disappoint, the whole family enjoyed some friendly competition! The house was very clean and appreciated the nice linens in each of the rooms and bathrooms. Outside the house, we enjoyed evenings on the porch and swing and the kids enjoyed the lake (river), even though the water level is very low it was still great for kayaking and floating around. Overall great house and Ai (owner) was a pleasure from start to finish. Thanks again for sharing your home with my family!

Leading up to the stay, the owner responded very quickly to any questions or concerns I had, as well as throughout our weekend stay. The check-in process was very easy and smooth. The house was in a great location and was stocked with simple items that you may forget (bug spray, games, condiments, etc). The house was also very spacious for 12 people, we never felt crowded. Overall it was a great stay and we would love to rent this property again in the future!!

#### Fun stay on the River!

We planned to float the River. The property was comfy and huge! We had ten people with us and it didn’t feel cramped at all. The pool table/ game room was a huge plus. The balcony was perfect for hanging out. Great trip!

#### Great weekend with family and friends

The house had all we needed. Plenty of space for freinds and family to relax and catch up. Beautiful deck and out door space. It was a great weekend.
