The Adirondack chairs on the back deck was our favorite spot for morning tea and “happy hour”. Dave and Becca were wonderful hosts! What a nice touch to arrive to a welcome note, local chocolate and coffee! The location is perfect for easy access to a variety of hikes. Cathedral Rock is right out the back door and an easy walk up. Several other trailheads are within walking distance. Downtown Sedona is a short 10 minute ride as are at least 3 food stores. The hike from the back of the property brings you to a spectacular view of Cathedral Rock. This was a treat for us and quite an adventure. There are a few things we look for when renting a home. One is privacy and this home has that. We got up early just to sip coffee and watch the cardinal birds and hummingbirds fly by outside. We also want security and this home has solid well locking windows and doors throughout. The home was clean ( very clean ) and welcoming. The beds were comfortable as well. I never say this regarding the homes we rent but this little gem is one we would definitely come back and stay at. The owner is really great to work with as well. It has everything you could want or need for a comfortable and enjoyable retreat as well as some special treats like a hot tub, espresso machine, and deck with the most amazingly comfortable chairs where you can just sit and enjoy the amazing mountains. The host is awesome and does all he can to make your stay the best it can be.
