Very spacious and sunlit rooms.
A couple of block away from the historic bridge, yet very quiet area. It was easy to get to any other place from there via the tram. If you like running and like a challenge the beautiful garden leading to the monastery is two blocks the other way.

The hotel is centrally located within the city centre. It's also quite easy to reach using metro from the airport. The breakfast buffet was very nice too.

This hotel has some good things, it's clean and in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful. However there are some issues I think others should be aware of, the rooms are extremely tiny. I requested 2 twins but was given a double, I could've have asked to have the double switched to the twins but didn't because it would have made it even harder to walk around the bed since there was very little space. The shower was so small I could barely turn around inside and there is no fixed shower head only a hand help one you have to hold to use. All those things I decided to overlook as this is a very old building. However there were two main things that bothered me. First there are decanters of water and some sort of liquor sitting on a desk. Not sealed but simply in a decanter. To me that was a safety issue. Second and this is the biggest problem I had with the hotel is the key to the room. You receive one key only one key. The problem was you needed the key to lock the room even from the inside. When you left the room you had to lock it with a key making it impossible for someone still in the room to get out, they would be locked inside unable to open the door from the inside. On top of that the staff wants you to return the key to the front desk when leaving the room where it is placed on a hook with your room number, again a huge safety issue. Anyone can just ask for a room number and they hand over the key without asking your name or verifying it's your room!
