The 40 Acre property is located adjacent to the Buffalo National River with three corners bordering the National Forest. Looking just-on the other side of the river lies Gene Rush Wildlife management area, managing Deer, Elk, Black Bear, and Turkey. One of the really delightful things we hadn’t even planned on was the stargazing. We were fortunate to be there during clear nights, and being so far from any light pollution, we could see so many stars, and could see the Milky Way as well, which was such a treat. I think the last time I saw the Milky Way that clearly was in the remote mountains of California as a kid. Robin was very helpful and responsive answering my questions. The cabin is a bit far from the various national river trailheads (30 minutes), so we decided to just stay put and enjoy the location itself, and the marked path through the woods on the property. It was so nice that we didn’t want to leave! One thing to note, although this property is very secluded, it is only an hour away from all the fun activities in Branson. Our family celebrated Thanksgiving at the cabin, the large table was great for playing family games. The grandkids enjoyed the loft space. We recommend this property. ##### Sheryl H.
