We were lucky enough to spend a warm fall weekend here with our adult children. We couldn't have found a more wonderful home. The home is beautifully appointed and well equipped. From the bedrooms to the kitchen, everything is top notch. Knowlton Farm is also well located for visiting Russian River Valley wineries and restaurants. We rented both houses which gave our family plenty of room to relax. The main house has a large kitchen that was perfect for preparing and enjoying our Thanksgiving weekend together. We actually rented both the main house and nearby guesthouse which is located just a short distance away. Both of these were well maintained and lovely. We had a few occasions where we needed to contact the property manager and the response couldn't have been quicker! This beautiful farmhouse just blew us away, from the views, to the grounds, to the pool to the house itself. Our week there really felt like we had been transported to Italy. The accommodations are wonderful, with everything you need to make staying in a breeze. Lori, who manages the property, was amazing, checking in with us before we arrived and providing everything we needed for a contactless arrival. Moreover, she was gracious enough to allow some family members who were visiting during our stay to use the pool house to help maintain our social distancing. All told, it was a truly exceptional experience with a friendly and happy to help team in what are unprecedented times. I could not recommend this property any more highly, though perhaps the words of my 7 year old daughter sum it up best. We were in Sebastopol for my son's wedding and our family converged from out of state to join us. The home is spacious with multiple living spaces and a kitchen beyond any chef's expectations. I swam in the 60' long pool in the afternoon to cool down, and started each day in the hot tub. The views from the back porch and pool area are of the sloping vineyards and garden. Our family of 4 and my parents enjoyed a wonderful week at Knowlton Farms Vineyard Home. As soon as we turned into the gate, we were in love with the property- the red barn, the trees, the vineyard. The home itself is so charming, spacious and beautifully decorated. The very large kitchen and dining area were great for family cooking fun and for dining while looking out at the gorgeous yard, pool and vineyards. Each room has a comfortable bed with lovely linens, calming colors and plenty of space for unpacking. The living room and sitting room were great for reading, lounging and watching a movie on the Smart TV. We spent most of our time on the outdoor patio furnished with comfortable, attractive furniture and in and by the warm, gorgeous lap pool and spa. Our teenagers loved goofing around in the pool, lounging under the umbrella, and rinsing off sunscreen at the neat outdoor shower next to the pool house. The spa is fantastic- the jets are very nice and strong and the temperature was perfect. Sitting in the spa under the stars with the whole family will be a great memory for years to come. Mr. Knowlton and his son were very gracious- even brought us fresh vegetables from the extensive garden on the grounds. Lori, the property manager, and Lori the house keeper, were very helpful and accommodating. We wish we could have stayed more than a week. It was a perfect, restful, beautiful getaway.
