With its own entrance and tranquil setting, this getaway will refresh & restore. Close to shops, restaurants, grocery, library, bus line, beaches, water activities, mountains, parks. Near 522 with easy access to I-5 & I-405 to Seattle, Redmond, and Woodinville wineries. An hour from skiing and San Juan Islands. Great for couples, individuals & small families. Space Our welcoming and comfortable MIL apartment (the entire lower level of our single-family, multi-level home) is in a great neighborhood close to everything. The bedroom offers attractive bedding, quality mattress, plenty of pillows and blankets, and windows with views out to the garden of natural NW foliage and trees. French doors in the living room open out to a private back yard patio. Living room has a large sofa-bed couch for lounging and sleeping. Includes internet-access TV, computer, DVD movies, cards, games, and high-speed internet wi-fi. Guest access Private entrance with key code entry and interior deadbolt for extra security opens to large foyer, kitchen with granite counter tops, full bathroom with shower (no bathtub), living and dining areas, and laundry room (washer and dryer). Electric baseboard heating in each room. Private back yard patio through French doors is the perfect place to enjoy your hot coffee in the morning, or to finish off your day with a night cap in the evening. Use the high-speed internet wi-fi to stream your favorite internet-based shows; or get some work done if you're here on business. Guest interaction We are friendly people who respect guests' privacy. We are full-time professionals who make every effort to create a welcoming environment. Our home is centrally located on the north end of Lake Washington, nestled in a quiet neighborhood on a cul-de-sac street. Only a few blocks away from downtown Kenmore, Burke-Gillman trail, Log Boom Park, and Metro bus line, including express bus to downtown Seattle. Only 3 miles from Bastyr University/St. Edwards Park, 4 miles from UW-Bothell and Cascadia Community College, and 7 miles from UW-Seattle. Centrally located and easy to get to Puget Sound, Woodinville wine country, downtown Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Edmonds, Everett, and surrounding areas like the Olympic Peninsula, Mount Baker National Forest, San Juan Islands, Skagit Valley, Snoqualmie Pass, Puget Sound, etc. Join us and see why we love living here so much! Getting around Close to 522 (Bothell Way) with easy access to interstates I-5 and I-405, major bus routes (which can take you to Light Rail or ferry terminals at Seattle or Edmonds), and Kenmore airport (i.e., sea planes). Other things to note Kitchen includes cooking necessities, coffee maker, toaster; coffee, tea; pantry contains some dry goods. General household items like dish soap, laundry detergent, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, etc. are available. Kindly replace what you use. Please note that our property may not be appropriate for those with physical disabilities and/or difficulty with stairs, as the private entrance is accessed down a long flight of stairs alongside the house (see pictures). It is certainly large, spacious, and well-equipped. The only issue we encountered was that I had not quite understood the steepness of the stairs to access the unit. Being too older adults with a fair amount of luggage for a week-long stay, the loading and unloading certainly gave us our workout for those days. The location was ideal (close to family, the lake, restaurants and stores; near a small park and a short walking trail). Inside, the apartment had everything that we needed (comfortable beds, full laundry and kitchen facilities). It was quiet and cool, and very private. Communication with Cristen was timely and always very helpful. She and her husband were wonderful hosts! We did have some issues with the Wifi going in and out, especially in the living room area. Also, upon arrival there was wet laundry in the washing machine and a pair of used cleaning gloves on the nightstand, as if we caught the cleaning person in the middle of their work. :-) Still, it felt like home away from home for us. Pretty comfortable bed, lots of space, in-unit laundry, excellent shower, private entrance, fast wifi & dedicated parking spot. When my check-in time had to be slightly delayed because of a cleaning service scheduling issue, Cristen was kind enough to offer a bag of Caffe Ladro beans for the trouble! There were a few uninvited guests (crickets) that I had to kill that seemed to sneak in by the door occasionally, but nice stay overall. ##### Damon A. The apartment was convenient to visiting our daughter. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. We liked the entry lock with a code so we didn't need to keep track of a key. The kitchen was very roomy and well stocked. The owners were very responsive to the questions we had. The property is located on a very quiet street and backing a wooded area. The owner did state that there were stairs one had to traverse to get down to the unit. However, the photos do not show how steep the stairs were. The first, long set of stairs (20-30) did have a handrail, but there was no handrail for the final 8-10 steps. That is probably a code violation. Since we would have been coming back at night, we did not feel safe. We informed the owner that we would not be staying there, and asked that at least the cleaning fee be waived— which she agreed to. ##### Jane S. There was something for every age group, games, movies and even toys for very little people. It had great lighting so it never felt like you were in a basement. Only thing I was concerned about was a bit of dark mold in corner of the shower. There was cleaning fluid that we sprayed and felt comfortable showering there. My real rating is 4.5 only because of the mold in shower. It was nice to return after active days of holiday celebration. ##### Amy C. Owners live on premise. They were very responsive and bought a new toaster when the one they had didn't work. Close to Bothel which we love. I would definitely rent this place again. ##### Thomas S.
