Over all for a motel it was decent, but i would not recommend sitting in the chair or the couches.. they were very dirty and a simple rental of a steam cleaner could easily clean that up. Other than that it was quiet for me and affordable. Other than the chair and couch i would go back to stay.

The lady working the front desk was wonderful. She always greeted us with a smile and a little small talk when we went down for our morning tea and coffee. When we checked out she took notes on anything we had to say about the room, which was what i expected for a motel on a busier street. Some traffic noise but not terrible though some of the furniture could use some replacing, whoch it wounds like they are working on. Over all it was a good stay for the weekend. And thank you to the staff member it made it that much better!

My stay at the Marco Polo was terrific. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was huge and clean, the bed was remarkably comfortable, the location was so convenient and the surrounding neighborhood was so walkable and appealing. For the price it’s impossible to beat this place. I’ll stay here every time I come to Seattle for a show.

We needed an affordable, clean, comfortable, safe place with on-site free parking to stay in the city that is close to Fred Hutchinson and UW Medical Center. (Both are only 10 min drive away) Marco Polo Motel checked ALL those boxes. The bed was amazingly comfortable, they also provide plenty of pillows (most motels only give you 2 mediocre ones) not here; we got 4 nice big fluffy pillows. Room also has a really comfortable love seat and table and chairs to sit at. Basic mini fridge and microwave. No coffee pot, but fresh coffee available in the lobby, powder creamer and sugar (no splenda) TV was adequate; no frills basic stations (no Showtime/HBO) which we're fine with. TV was a bit 'glitchy' at times, occasionally it pixelated out, but came right back on. Free on-site parking is room adjacent well lit and safe (which can be hard to find in the city) Room had plenty of windows, light and airy, decent black out curtains. (No scenic view to speak of) Ice machine was out of order, and vending machine only took cash (no cards) There's a 7-11& small grocery close by. Papa Murphy does deliver to motel; but be sure to get your order correct the first time as thier by phone order system is routed through an India call center. We wanted to add/modify our order and couldn't as we didn't know to which local store our order went to and they had no record of our order. Street and air noise are present; but not terrible. If you need a basic, comfortable safe place to stay this is it.

Very nice clean two-story motel. Nicely kept up. The Desk Clerk, Natalia, was super friendly and helpful. Our only (minor) issue was the heat would not go off and the room was too warm. We fixed by running the air conditioner, which was quiet,. Enjoyed our stay, would stay again. Great Seattle value!

Well maintained older building. Very nostalgic. Very clean! Very comfortable! Friendly front desk team. Big shout out to Yolanda! We stayed 4 nights. Location was great for getting into Seattle core or head North to Lynnwood for shopping. We also visited the Woodlands Park Zoo.

Stayed here while visiting the city for the first time and it had its perks. Good location if you don’t mind staying outside the major city area and okay walking, using public transport, or ubering to get to things. I used the bus system most of the time and rides were about 20-25 minutes to get to places, and in my opinion it’s a good way to see things like a local! Looks wise, one may say it’s old and outdated as it doesn’t look to be remodeled but it gets the job done as far as having a safe/private place to sleep, rest, and eat. Compared to some areas downtown, the surrounding area isn’t that bad I would just be cautious at night if out and about. It’s a cool little area of Seattle and I definitely recommend checking it out. Forgot their names but both gentleman who ran the hotel (younger guy and older guy) were super helpful and accommodating! I forgot ketchup my first night there but homie saved the day with leftover packets he had, exceptional service!

The staff were unquestionably nice and very friendly. Walking to shopping was easy and safe. It’s a hilly place, so be prepared for that. And the neighborhood was full of restaurants with excellent food.

Stepping into the 1960's.
The Marco Polo is a bit like stepping into the 1960's. Although the interiors may have been upgraded in the late 80's or early 90's. On the up side, the rooms were clean and comparatively affordable. Plenty of hot water for the shower. The staff were excellent. They even fired up the lobby coffee maker for us on Fri, Sat, and Sun evening. The downside, skimpy on the towels and the AC was old and made a heck of a racket. You also have top walk several blocks to get to places to eat.

They charged me $20 for staining their sheet, not even a big stain, only from a food that fell down on it. The guy tells me that they couldn’t remove it even by using a bleach, seriously??? It’s not like I stained the sheet with a paint or something.

It’s a place to stay near Fremont
I have stayed here before Covid and the rooms were okay. Now they are still just okay. The carpet needed cleaning and the room had a smell that most older motels have. There was hair on the shower stall walls and mold above the shower insert. The sheets were clean but the bed was past its due date.
