Venture into Schmitz Preserve Park, Me-Kwa-Mooks Park, or Lincoln Park, where you can stroll along forested trails or a paved beach walkway to soak in the area's beauty - all within several miles. Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal and Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center are also within several miles, while Snoqualmie ski hill is roughly 58 miles away and perfect for a day trip in the winter. Downtown Seattle and Bellevue can be reached within a short drive for additional sights and fun. Inside the home, two fireplaces, a jetted tub, and heated bathroom floors provide cozy spaces to unwind after adventure-filled days. The beams used for the house were salvaged from Pier 66 when it was demolished and rebuilt as Bell Harbor/Paul Schell Memorial Pier. The house has striking architectural features with vaulted, wood-paneled ceilings that soar in the main living area, where large windows invite scenic ocean views. Ample counter space makes meal prep a breeze in the well-equipped kitchen. When it's time to eat, grab a seat at the large dining table or the kitchen bar. After dinner, settle into the upstairs living area for a movie night on the TV. Two desks and a washer/dryer provide added convenience during your stay. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. Long-term tenants live in this home's basement apartment. This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). House was very clean when we arrived and we all felt the beds were very comfortable. We didn’t realize the master bedroom was a loft and so there aren’t any doors for privacy upstairs. The master bathroom had a door so that was good. The only tv in the house was upstairs but the remote didn’t really work so we didn’t even watch it. We used the main fireplace downstairs, which was very nice. If you stay in the upstairs master bedroom the smell of campfire lingered for a couple days. One of the spare bedrooms didn’t have a closet but they used the closet right outside the room where the washer and dryer are. It was no big deal at all. We were close to a Safeway and along that same street had many places to eat. The house has a grill so we grilled a few times during our stay. Downtown Seattle was about 20 mins away. We would definitely stay here again. There is a tenant downstairs but we never saw them and they never bothered us at all. It was totally fine. We didn’t have to interact with the management team so I can’t review on that. It was so peaceful in this neighborhood and beautiful scenery. I would 100 percent recommend! ##### stephanie A. Beds are cozy, and huge dining room table, and all that. There is no tv downstairs, only upstairs. Parking should have more detail, we had two bigger sized rigs, and went up the hill driveway, and it’s extremely tight and compact. We had to quickly come to a stop and then go back down drive way and back up to get parked efficiently. While doing so the neighbor literally got in our rig that was parked near the bottom of the driveway and moved it without our Permission. He moved it using the gas pedal more then necessary and slammed the driver door while shutting and opening it, bending our door forward (now have to fix on own expense) cause he couldn’t wait 30 seconds for us to safely get situated. Obviously not owners fault, but he clearly is impatient and thinks he can just hop in anyone’s rig and move it under his own free will. Was not pleased with that. Other than that everything was fantastic. I’d suggest smaller rigs, and don’t plan on taking more than two rigs because the lower parking can be a hit or miss. The view is beautiful, as well as the house! The tenant below was very kind, and stays busy doing her own thing and is very quiet! It’s a great place for a family to stay! ##### Tori T. Séjour de 6 nuits en décembre 2023 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Wendy B. 2 mai 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### beautiful home we cane tonwatch baseball games. it was a great location, close enough to what we had planned. the home itself is beautiful. gorgeous view, plemty of space. only issues were minor. water in main floor bath didnt want to turn off easily. sheets and bedding were clean, although small details such as being super wrinkly and put on inside out made me think it was a rushed effort. there are zero pantry items. salt and pepper, sugar for the gazillion tyoes if tea, but no other pantry staples or seasonings, so if you plan on cooking make sure to bring even the basic seasoning salt. might be a good idea to fix the huge tree root in the driveway. coming back to the house in the dark could be a tripping hazard and lead to injury. we would absolutely stay here again. ##### Wendy B. The location and view from the property were amazing!! Unfortunately, there were a few issues like towels not being out and some dirty (dog hair and human hair) sheets, dead/moldy pumpkin on the front stairs. Little things, but important.
