Ok Hotel Catering to Conferences

Posted 9-Sep-2016
Overall experience was ok. My reviews reflect the cost of room/food/facilities as it relates to the overall value. First thing I noticed walking down the hallway to my room was the overall musty/mildew smell. It wasn't prevalent until I started walking down the wing that led to my room. The room was ok and fairly confortable. I think the room was supposed to have a mini fridge but the cabinet housing where one might go was an empty cavity. Tv and remote were older and didn't work that great. The shower floor wasn't "set" at the correct slope to drain adequately and one ends up standing in a pool of water while showering. It is simply an older room that was remodeled and it was a retro fit job. Not horrible just average. So for the cost per night I just didn't see the value and it seemed overpriced. The food and restaurant prices were just pain ridiculous. I paid $5 for a bottle of water and $2.69 for a pack of gum. The restaurant prices were similarly overpriced and the only choices for hotel guests so I guess it's what people pay because they don't have any other options. If you stay bring your own water or shop down the street at the convenience store. The hotel staff were excellent and friendly. They always said Hello in the hallway and were apparently trained in customer service. As one might guess from the hotel name, there are many, many convention rooms here, a couple dozen at least of all various sizes and capacity. Because of this its a bustling hotel.

Quick weekend trip

Posted 9-Sep-2016
Extremely convenient to the airport and the light rail into Seattle. Walk from airport all the way to security line took 10 minutes. Our room was too warm when we arrived and the air conditioner was not working. The issue was promptly fixed when we reported it. Great experience.

Pros: close to the airport
Cons: transportation to the other hilton should have been provided
I'm not sure what happened but the meeting I flew 1400 miles for was suppose to be at this hotel. Somehow the meeting was at a different hotel down the street. It would have been nice if the hotel could have provided transportation to the other hotel. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.

Convenient for traveler wanting to stay close to airport in order to catch connecting flights out of Seattle. Restaurant on premises is nice for weary traveler. Shuttle service to and from airport was well organized Kind of pricy but convenient.

Within 5 minutes of SEATAC airport.

Pros: Helpful staff Good restaurant right in lobby
Cons: Price was a bit high given that I was only staying one night and was checking in at 11:45pm. Wishing that I could have gotten a bit of a better price
Location: Location is near airport. Enough said
Great place to stay when my flight was cancelled. People were friendly, but wishing that they could have dropped the price given that I was only there for less than 24 hours. Said they could not since I booked through Expedia.
