Nice place
This rental is in a home converted into multiple units. This unit is a refurbished basement. It has all the things you need to stay comfortably. Positives- location, communication with the owner, amenities, it is roomy, the tv has streaming channels you can log into, easy access to I-5, HUGE closets to hang your clothes, and there is a full-sized washer and dryer. Negatives- really short ceilings/doorways due to being a finished basement, the cast of "STOMP" above us (the other people staying upstairs were very loud walkers and played music late into the evening), and there was not a player, as listed. Parking can be a bit tricky due to the width of the alley for larger vehicles, but we were able to pull into the driveway across and back in. You can also park on the street normally, but due to construction, that made it hard to do. Knowing these things, I would still stay here again. There is no guarantee who will be staying above you when you book a downstairs unit. We go to be early, so after 930 I get a bit annoyed. LOL. But the owner did their best to take care of things. It was a nice stay, and a needed getaway.

5/5 Excellent

Lovely little spot
Clean and comfortable! We enjoyed being close to Fremont and the Rose Garden. Teresa was responsive and kind.

Very nice stay
This was as expected and owner allowed early check in which was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

3/5 Okay

Mommy Getaway
The place was clean and cute but the parking was HORRIBLE! It should have been noted somewhere in the listing that you need to drive a compact car or small vehicle to be able to use the parking provided. The picture makes it looks like it’s very open and easy to access, it is not. I barely fit into my spot due to the upper unit attendants and the garage being so close, as well as, the rock barriers/fence across from the parking spot. I drive a Toyota 4-Runner. Also, the pictures make the unit look like it’s the one pictured - it’s not. It is the lower unit, which was fine until the upper attendants decided to party the first night until 1:30am and the second night until 3:30am. Obviously keeping us up all night, due to COVID and not being from the area we did not knock on the upper attendant’s door and ask them to quiet down. We were hoping for a nice “mommy trip” and relaxation which did not occur due to the very loud music, high heels on the old wood floors of the building (our ceiling), and the screaming. Overall, we had a nice trip but I wouldn’t book this place again due to it not accommodating our needs and wants for our trip.

5/5 Excellent

a lovely urban retreat
Just a lovely little spot right near the heart of Fremont. Walking distance to just about anything you'd need for a brief stay in the city, but far enough from the bustle. Off street parking is a big plus. Teresa is openly communicative, friendly, and a gracious host. I will definitely stay here again for a city staycation.
