Need a beachfront staycation? Unit 1 of this stylish triplex is right across the street from sandy Alki beach. Hang out on your private patio with unobstructed views of the sand & surf! Ride, scoot, paddleboard, volleyball, & bonfires are just outside your door. Or, grab the Water Taxi to downtown Seattle for sports, shopping, and attractions. With Hi-Speed WiFi, you COULD work, but why? 70 steps from the sand w/many walkable restaurants/bars/coffee nearby. What more could you want? The space This private 1bd unit sleeps 4 and is in a corner triplex across the street from Alki Beach Park. Its view of Puget Sound faces Bainbridge Island and features the most amazing sunsets. Rental bikes and scooters are just steps from your door. Please note that this unit only has one bedroom with a queen bed, so to accommodate 4 people, it would involve using the sofa bed in the living room. You have your own private space with full kitchen, private bedroom, and deck to relax or engage in the many beach activities. Features: \~Its own Lounge Deck overlooking the water \~Fast Wi-Fi \~Full kitchen \~55" Samsung 4K TV to stream your subscription channels \~Wood floors \~New furniture \~Queen bed in the bedroom \~Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room \~One dedicated off-street parking spot \~Washer/Dryer (shared) \~Backyard area (shared) Guest access There is an electronic lock at the front door to the building and each unit has its own lockbox with key. Each unit is completely private and separate, but share laundry facilities, backyard, and front entrance. There is plenty to explore within walking distance. Alki Beach Park is an active place with lots of cafes, restaurants, bike/kayak/paddle boards rentals but can be serene and peaceful if you'd like it to be. For getting around, there is plentiful bus service, plus a free shuttle that will take you to the West Seattle Water Taxi, which will whisk you straight across Elliott Bay to the Seattle waterfront, a no-car/traffic stress-free way to the visit the city. That same free shuttle can also take you to the two main centers of West Seattle, the Alaska Junction and the Admiral Junction with grocery stores, many more restaurants, and shopping. Uber and Lyft are also available. Additionally, there are plentiful ride-share scooters & bikes just across the street to explore the beauties of Alki Beach from the 2.5 mile paved jogging/bike path. A fantastic relaxing experience. Open fires are allowed on the beach where people have bonfires & Barbecues. Other things to note Please note that it can sometimes get very NOISY here depending on the season and time of year! We unfortunately have no control over this, but due to the popularity of the area and our prime location right on the Alki strip next to the beach, the area can sometimes get quite lively and busy during the weekend and especially in the summer. It is not all the time, and it is sometimes hard to predict, but if you need absolute peace and quiet or are sensitive to noise, this might not be the stay for you. Unfortunately, it sort of comes with the location and is not something we can control. Also please note that during popular summer weekends, Alki Beach can get very crowded and street parking can become challenging.
