It is a very short walk to the beach. Walking to the shops and aquarium in Seaside is just a bit longer, but doable. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to cook our meals. Blankets for cozy fire time were nice and there were plenty of games, puzzles and movies. The outlets are outdated - the only 3 prong outlets are in the kitchen and bath. Some of the 2 prong outlets won't firmly hold the cord in place. The path to the beach is 1/2 a block, but there is about a .25mi walk to get to the beach.There is a 99 cleaning fee but you are asked to strip the beds and start the laundry yourself. ##### Dana B. We had a fantastic time at this vacation rental! The house was spotless, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the large selection of board games and had a blast with the ping pong table.The location is perfect—just a short half-block walk to the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Seaside is a great town with lots of gluten-free options, which was a big plus for a person with Celiac.A couple of small things to note: the bedrooms let in a lot of light, so if you're sensitive to that, you might want to bring an eye mask. It is just far enough away from the main area to be very quiet and peaceful. The short walk to the beach was so nice each morning. I absolutely loved the living room decor. ##### ramona d. Beds were very comfy and the backyard was perfect for the dogs although not accessible from inside the house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again. ##### Cassi G. Darling cottage with great amenities for families with small children. Practically on the beach and easy walking distance to the promenade. It was close to Seaside to go visit and enjoy but outside the busiest parts to enjoy your own slice of the beach.
