There were problems though. The biggest issue was that we were denied the complimentary breakfast. One of the reasons I booked a stay at this property was beacuse of the complimentary breakfast that was included in the Expedia information and subsequent reservation. We were told by two different staff members that because we booked our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott, we did not receive breakfast. Apparently breakfast was only for Residence Inn guests. Totally embarrassing for us and extremely disappointing. Furthermore, there were no pool towels, so we had to use our bathroom towels. We asked for more of those, they were never delivered to the room as promised. Lastly, the bedsheets were intolerably scratchy. Not even close to a partial view. Paid for breakfast in the booking but got the runaround with that too. This is a newly opened hotel of only four days so maybe they’ll get things sorted out.
