This home sits in an open meadow just east of Highway 1\. Scenic hiking trails are accessible from the property, Del Mar's heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas are less than a half-mile walk from the house, and the oceanfront Bluff Trail is only a block or so beyond that. Enter by way of a sheltered courtyard, where you'll find the hot tub, a gas grill, and cushioned outdoor seating to enjoy in the afternoon sunshine. Inside the main part of the home, you'll be greeted by a two-story great room with generous windows and a gas fireplace to warm you as you watch movies at night. This space blends into an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large island with bar seating, and an adjacent dining room table. An expansive deck - with hammocks, loungers, and rocking chairs - wraps around the house and is accessible through multiple glass doors. The second-floor loft is a beautiful spot to escape with a good book, set up your laptop, or enjoy a board game. When it's time to turn in, you'll find that each bedroom has its own bathroom and direct access to the outdoors, including a primary suite with a TV, a soaking tub and a shower, and a separate dressing room. The third bedroom is in a detached casita across the courtyard with its own shuffleboard table, refrigerator, and workspace. THINGS TO KNOW \*If house occupancy goes above six at any time, guests will immediately be asked to leave the property. Children count toward the home's maximum occupancy. This home has a strict no-pets policy due to extreme owner-family allergies. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: There are two active security cameras; one is by the garage and looks out to the driveway, and the other is in the side yard. If we detect more than six people on the property at any time, guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. It is an amazing Sea Ranch property with tons of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy in solidarity or in community. From sunrise to sunset the ocean views from the deck are perfect for that morning coffee to evening cocktail. The Sea Ranch community amenities also provided us with many options from, hiking, golf, swimming, dining, and pickleballing, which we took full advantage of. Top-notch interior decor, a great kids' room with a massive bunk bed and toy closet. Grown ups have a choice of a huge master suite or a whole separate game rom / suite. Only one other home is visible from it, and a great trail comes right by the house. Great views of nature, deer, the Milky Way, and some sea from the back porch. We had a couple of issues though. As far as cleanliness, we had mouse droppings under the sink, clean dishes but with food pieces still on them that were put away in the cabinet, stained sheets, and several dead bugs in top of the comforter in one of the bedrooms. Most of this is not that big of a deal but stained sheets is not acceptable for 600/night. And a couple of mouse traps should be included with the place. I had to buy my own to kill the mouse running around. Also we found out two days before our trip that the power would be out for an entire night. No refunds or credits. So I haled my generator 4 hours only to find out the place house battery back up. A mention of this in the listing would be nice. Also the sea ranch security thought it was ok to enter the property and talk to 3 teenage girls with out trying to find an adult. It was before quiet hours and you could barely hear the music playing. Definitely inappropriate of the security staffBut overall a nice place to stay ##### drew d. There are great places to hang out as a group and then multiple places outside to spread out including two separate sitting areas. The stars you can see while sitting in the hot tub are unmatched and we loved the trails that you can hop on right from the yard. Sea Ranch is an incredible area, there is so much to explore and something for everyone. The owners have paid attention to detail and it creates a comfortable and cool atmosphere. The location is a short walk to the coast in a natural setting, but just a few miles drive from town with all the necessary amenities.
