Built by the owner from the ground up, this tri-level home is entered from the ground level and is full of thoughtful touches such as radiant floor heating throughout. The jetted primary bath tub looks out over the forest and the outdoor deck is the perfect place to lounge, grill, and dine among the trees. Enjoy lazy mornings in bed with window coverings in the primary for comfort and privacy. Enjoy community access to heated pools, tennis courts, saunas, and some of the loveliest trails and beaches on the Northern California Coast, and come home each evening to relax in the beauty of the forest. This home sits on the east side of California Highway 1, less than a mile from Black Point Beach and the incredible Bluff Trail that traces the ocean shoreline. The Moonraker Recreation Center, with its outdoor heated pool, saunas, and tennis/pickleball court, is just across Highway 1\. If you hop in the car for a scenic drive up the coast, you'll find the Sea Ranch Chapel five miles north, the Sea Ranch Golf Links eight miles north, and several markets, restaurants, and galleries in charming downtown Gualala one mile beyond. Some of the best pastries in the area also await at Twofish Baking in the Stewarts Point Store only four miles south. THINGS TO KNOW Two parking/pool passes for Sea Ranch Recreation Centers. Gas fireplace is decorative and not operational. Please note that cell reception and WiFi are very inconsistent here. The living room on the second floor has no window coverings. Due to high demand and limited availability of facilities as managed by TSRA, Management cannot guarantee that all guests will have access to the pools/tennis courts. Please note that no refund(s) will be provided in relation to the TSRA facilities. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. The house itself has a really unique layout with the main room being on the second floor. Jul 3, 2023 #### Very nice house with a few stairs! seems like a decorator outfitted this house. It's not your typical throw-together. Very nice appointments everywhere and very clean. It is in the forest so no beach views but very quiet. Nice decks. Get ready to hike a few flights of stairs. Hot tube in master bedroom is a nice feature. ##### David M. Jul 13, 2022 #### Spyglass View The Spyglass View house has a wonderful setting in the redwoods. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a hiking trail a few yards away. The 3rd floor master suite is fantastic and you feel like you are in the redwood canopy. The 2nd bedroom is on the ground floor and though functional does not have the wow factor as the master. The Air Bath was a nice surprise. The construction of the home is impressive. The interior design inviting and comfortable. Needless to say the location is perfect. Ive stayed with VRBO rentals all over the world and its never been anything but marvelous. This management group need to up their game. To ask travelers to drive a 40 minute round trip to their office for no real reason was annoying - the parking passes could be left in the house, as they are anywhere else I have stayed. When I called to say the lockbox was not at the front door, as written, I was told to look around on the ground in case it had fallen off. Then, to look under the bushes in case it had been hidden there. They then put me in touch with the local agent who could barely contain her laughter when she explained that it was on the back side of a porch pillar. I now see they have altered their info to reflect this. But, "look under the bushes" is ridiculous - and after a long drive, to be snickered at was not entertaining. I will use VRBO again but never through this outfit. Ever. ##### whitney m.
