It was never mentioned in recent reviews and the host said that smoking was allowed in the upstairs balcony and a recent guest had been a regular frequent smoker out there. I told the host that I would not mention the smoke smell because it was a one-off and the host was making effort to fix that. I believe her. But my sister in law did find a review from 2 years ago mentioning the same thing. And the host had the same response. Smoking allowed on the balcony. I feel I have to mention so future guests who are sensitive to any hint of smoke smell, can inquire of the host before staying there. If it is a very very infrequent occurrence as the reviews suggest, then you will love your stay here. She has thought of everything and is a great communicator and conscientious and experienced Finally. One other reviewer mentioned the listing can be hard to understand. I asked Lynne about it, she explained it and she was right. I had not searched for every detail and extra windows. Teddy, the puppy , is very friendly and cute. We enjoyed our stay at this B&B.
