We booked this hotel based off of the other fairly decent reviews. We just needed something for the night after a very very long travel. We checked in at 3 am and immediately rushed to the room, to try to get some sleep. We entered the room, which smelled of dust and mildew, but was a large “suite” with a king size bed and a huge tub in the corner. There were two AC units in the room, which only one worked and the other smelled like it was going to catch on fire, so we opted to just deal with use of the one. We finally got organized and made it bed around 4 am. At exactly 11am, the phone started ringing. Mike from the front desk wanted to let me know that we needed to check out. I asked for a few more minutes, as we were just waking up, he said a few more minutes and then as soon as I hung up the phone, housekeeping started knocking. It was 11:02. I let that gentleman know that we were getting ready and it would be a little bit. He said he was going to wait, as this was the only room he needed to clean. I again said, it was going to be a while for us to get ready and pack. Mike at the front desk then called again another 6 times and housekeeping knocked 4 more times in the next 45 mins while we were trying to get out. Probably would have gotten out faster if I didn’t have to keep stopping what I was doing to answer the phone and door. At 12:01, Mike called again. He said he understood that we got in at 3am, but we needed to leave immediately or pay for another night.
