The house is big, clean and very well kept. The house features plenty parking for trucks with boats attached and having a private launch was the ultimate feature. We enjoyed Lake Guntersville and hope to return soon. We had so much space to be together or space to spread out as to not be on top of each other. The kitchen had an unreal amount of space for cooking and serving guests. Unfortunately we did have some issues. The owner had to meet us at the property with the keys and felt a tour was necessary, which was a little awkward. It also required extra communication and coordination. The house was as pictured in the ad, plenty of room for the entire family with great kitchen space for big families. However the main living room and kitchen area had a very potent smell that we had to contend with during our stay. Very similar to an animal urine smell. The dock is not swimmer friendly, and does not provide great access for lounging or sunbathing. The dock is also shared with other residents which is not disclosed in the advertisement. We were only told that someone would be coming on the 4th to take their boat from the dock, but we stayed for 5 nights and every day we were there we had traffic in and out of the sheds and the boat dock. Neighbors and owner, who were all very friendly, but this lack of privacy made the stay a little uncomfortable. Not what we are normally used to for a VRBO stay. ##### Shane U.
