"I was only staying for one night.
Friendly greeting on arrival.
All the public areas were fairly modern and well kept.
There was good service and food in the bar I used and the prices were reasonable.
The single room I had was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
There is hotel parking at a cost but I used the public carpark at the top of the road.
( I can imagine parking might be a bit more difficult in the really busy season.)
The area around the hotel is a little run down in places but don't let that put you off.
You can probably walk to the promenade in about 6 minutes with everything it has to offer.
I would be very happy to stay at the Ruskin again."
