After you arrive, settle into the luxurious leather furniture in front of the gas fireplace with your favorite beverage. Outdoors, enjoy the sunrise or morning mists on one of the rockers on the 75-foot wrap around porch, or build memories with family and friends in the evenings around the fire ring. On crisp mornings, you will definitely appreciate the radiant floor heating. Although the cabin has a full kitchen, highly rated restaurants such as Jean Bonnet Tavern, 10/09 Kitchen, and LIFeSTYLE are just down the road. Located 8.5 miles from historic Bedford, fifteen miles from the Flight 93 Memorial, and within minutes of several ski resorts. All of us greatly enjoyed our stay. The spacious cabin is beautifully decorated, well furnished, and clean. The beds and the rest of the furniture are quite comfortable. The cabin is very quiet and peaceful. The enclosed porch off of the main bedroom is lovely and I regret I didn't have time to enjoy it more. The cabin is very close to Shawnee State Park, and is also close to the lovely town of Bedford. It's not far at all from the Flight 93 National Memorial (9/11). We had no reason to talk with the owners other than when we checked in but they seem very nice and I'm sure they would have been helpful if we need them. My wife and I had an absolute blast in this cabin and in the surrounding \[gorgeous\] countryside. The house was immaculately clean and far more attractive in real life than the photos showed, and so was the exterior.
