Misleading images of rooms
I feel that the images of the rooms did not reflect my room. It was a double with ensuite but ver small. Every other option looks bigger, I had a sound of what sounded like an extractor running and was not restful without the TV to block it out. Check in was fast but I wouldn't say it was welcoming. All in all, I wont be returning, which is a shame as I am working in the area for a while and could have become a regular.

Comfy holiday
We booked a family room for and we got an appertment with two room, a kitchen a sitting area. The place was modern and well presented. It felt very comfortable. There is pub meals served downstairs.

Cute pub hotel in small village. Food at pub was very good. Room was very comfortable, though a touch small with odd layout. Shower is particularly small... especially for a bigger guy. Very quiet room, nice bed. Cost effective. Server at breakfast was a bit spacey but we made out OK with reminders.

Two bedroom apartment
Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Had all the amenities and more. Really lovely rooms, pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Never Again....
The room looked ' tired ' maybe it hadn't been used for a while. The shower had mould on the door fixings, The sink was attractive but impractical and most of the water ended up on the floor. Rust is forming on attachment holding toilet rolls. The evening meal was probably one of the worst I have had in any hotel. I had gammon steak and it looked as if it had been boiled rather than seared in a pan .

We stayed in the apartment (room 9 and 10). Great facilities although didn’t have the heed to use much of them. Would definitely stay again. Great place to stay if visiting Scarborough - leave the car there and get the bus into Scarborough.

A tidy typical country pub/hotel. The extension was very modern with quality fittings and decently sized rooms.As appears to be the norm nowadays there was room for improvement in the cleaning of the shower unit but the rest of the hotel looked clean.Typical cooked breakfast but the continental offering may have confused our european visitors.

Nice hotel over all
Nice sized room and mostly very clean. I was a little disappointed with the way the food was prepared. The lady making my desert was fishing out the biscuit pieces with her hands and pushing them into my icecream with her fingers. Also the shower heads had not been cleaned in a long time and i felt i was washing in dirty water. Both points where mention to the staff and they said they would sort my issues.

An over night stay after visiting Scarborough, nicely welcomed by a young lady unfortunately didn’t get her name, very polite and helpful. Had a meal in the restaurant and was very nice and priced well under the current climate

Spacious room 9 + 10. Good amenities. Food is good at a reasonable price. Parking is limited. The mattress was a bit soft. Very enjoyable stay, ideal for a family.

The two-bedroom suite was simply amazing. Clean, updates and spacious. It was shocking how nice it was. The pub is clearly a village asset and the local for families. It was only a short drive from Scarborough. Perfect stay. My only caution would be noise from the pub. We happened to be out until 11 attending a concert. Sunday nigh Karaoke ended at 11. Lucky us.

Receptionist when booking in no people skills … The single beds really hard and way too small… the width was tiny … no air conditioning…. There was no where for feminine hygiene waste disposal … no shelf in the wet room for products .. especially shampoo and fair conditioners… the television was a waste of time as it kept freezing…. In fact the receptionist who checked us in was bordering on being exceptionally rude

We only stayed the one night the hotel was convenient for visiting Scarborough. When we arrived at the hotel we were given keys for a room which we found on entering the room had not been cleaned from the previous guests. We reported this and were given an alternative room which was nice however this shouldn’t have happened in the first instance and didn’t provide a good impression.

Great two bedroom family room equipped with a well sized kitchen and smart TV to be able to sign into Netflix etc. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern with decent size showers.
