We had a wonderful week in this lovely cottage. Lovely owners made themselves known to us and were there should we have needed them, but otherwise left you to it. The cottage was cosy, very clean and welcoming. Very comfortable bed with lovely bedding and gorgeous fragrant towels. The kitchen was very well equipped. The cottage has lovely grounds which you are welcome to use and the dark skies made for wonderful evenings watching stars and owls overhead. The area is a delight and perfect for walkers and cyclists. Very close to the coast and a very accessible dog friendly beach at Cayton Bay. Perfect place for a peaceful break. We had a great week at Corn Stook cottage. Everything was clean and comfortable and was a real home from home. The owners were lovely and very helpful, there if you needed them but not obtrusive. Everything you needed was thought of. The scones with jam and cream were just delicious. The milk and tea waiting for us was also a great hit! The location is a beautiful spot but is remote, which we loved, but you will need a car. It was so peaceful, with just the birds singing. You have to travel to find a shop but there is a pub in walking distance.
