"The hotel staff were friendly, the room was fabulously spacious and comfortable. Great location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Disabled access was a little awkward as the entrance was along a long windy corridor with some tight turns but it didn't detract from the overall experience. Breakfast was superb. We loved it. The gym could do with a revamp as it is a little tired and the machines are old. "

"The hotel is great with gorgeous views. The staff are friendly and speak English which was really helpful. However, a bar down the street was blasting music until well past 1 am and I struggled to sleep multiple nights during my stay because of it. "

"We love this beautiful peaceful place surrounded by nature. We’ve stayed three times now and will keep going back whenever we’re in Europe. The spa area is so relaxing, the included breakfast is delicious, the nature trails are gorgeous, and the staff are kind and welcoming. It’s a lovely retreat! "

"Lovely location and great service. Only negative was that my room wasn’t ready for check-in at 3pm as promised which left me little time to get ready for my event. It is a big hotel and there is lots of guests so expect queues for checkin, bar, breakfast buffet etc I would stay again and try the spa facilities next time."

"Property was nice and good location. However cleanliness wasn't great - when we checked into our room I found hairs from previous occupants in the shower on the wall and the floor which is poor. Breakfast was ok but very busy and it was hard to find a table to sit at at peak times, even though you had to put your name down for what time you would be attending breakfast. Staff were friendly. "Amazing time capsule, a "grand hotel" from the 70's, where the kitchen still prepares all the food from ingrediants on-site. Superb breakfast, affordable high quality drinks at the bar, and nice sauna with refreshing indoor pool."
