This hotel is a bit of of the way from the city centre and is about a 20 minute walk from the main train station. The area felt a bit unsafe to walk through in parts and if i were a female i might have felt even more uncomfortable. Room was nice and shower too. Room was also quiet.

Staff were nice and helpful. Room was very large, but basic. Area around the property is a little rough. A good 20-30 minute to the main train station. Value for money was okay.

Busy suburban environment
We had a very spacious room on 5th floor to the rear of the hotel. Weren't aware we needed to pre-book parking and felt very fortunate to get the last space on arrival, as the surrounding area is very busy and I wouldn't have felt at ease leaving the car on the street. Busy vibe on the main street with lots of takeaways and some sit down cafe/bar establishments. Breakfast was a good range of buffet food and plentiful coffee for the price.

Very friendly personel, really nice breakfast buffet, nice bier-garden, only criticism: my single room was a bit small, but otherwise really okay

The hotel itself in good condition and safe, friendly staff, secure parking, rooms comfortable and clean. Tram station 200m walk. However, the surrounding area is still run down and kind of sketchy after dark. The in-room tv screen was the size of my laptop's, the room key (not a key card) had the name, address and room number attached - so best you leave it at the front desk, just in case. The breakfast buffett did not seem to be freshly prepared the morning of (we stayed 2 nights - same scenario) , as the cold cuts showed green discolouration around the edges, the cheese "dry-curled", and fleischsalat looked aged, too. We stayed at various hotels in different cities, so we were able to compare several German breakfast buffets...

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback. We are happy that you were satisfied with the hotel itself and the friendlieness of my staff. It is no problem to leave the key at our front desk. The hotel is open 24 hours. Therefore you will get the key back all the time. Our breakfast buffet is freshly prepared every morning. Therefore it is very sad, that it not looks like it seems to be. This fact I will forward to my breakfast-team. Maybe they have to change some products more often. We would be looking very forward, if you give us a chance to show you during a second stay, that my team can do better. For a second stay please book our Junior Suite. It is a little more expensive, but therefore you will get a larger room and a larger TV (not in the size of your notebook). Best regards Bill Apel General Manager

A great hotel within walking distance from city ce
This is a great hotel within a walking distance from Leipzig city centre. The staff is very friendly and the room we were given was very spacious. Breakfast had many varieties of typical German meat products along with some very tasty pastries. What impressed us the most was a great art collection on walls throughout the hotel. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nice hotel, but not walking distance to places.
We came to visit the music sites, and aside from needing cabs to get around, the hotel was perfect.

Ideal Business Stop Over wit Great Breakfast
An ideal overnight destination, if just spending a night or two. Close to Train Station and an absolutely fantastic breakfast buffet. The Hotel is a silent witness to an era passed, lots to learn by just walking around the hotel!

Great option in Leipzig
About a 20 minute walk (5 min tram ride) from the old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with ample and safe street parking. Included breakfast was buffet-style and very good. A hidden gem for a day or two in Leipzig.

wonderful hotel close to old city centre
Very comfortable, front desk very very helpful and good English. We came searching for family roots and the desk very quickly found and directed us to the right contact offices with addresses, where we had great success. Highest recommendations as a hotel. Only suggestion is you request a room that over looks the courtyard rather than the street

Clear and quiet option
I had a single room for one Saturday night I spent in town. The room was very clean, as the rest of the Hotel, quiet and provided with free fast WiFi. Minor nuances were that the parking lot was full and the breakfast room had no free table at 9am. Parking on the street was no problem in the late evening. Overall, I recommend booking here.

Nice hotel, shame about the neighbours
Hotel and staff were very good. Plenty of free parking right outside hotel, bar and restaurant served good food and drink but the neighborhood lets the hotel down. Noisy at night and very scruffy during the day. However, I would consider this hotel again. Very handy for tramlink into centre of town.

The hotel itself is dated and needs maintenance, however, the art decorations are awesome and the rooms are spacious, with decent beds and bathroom/showers. The personnel is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is decent. The city centre is quite close and reachable by foot or tram. I'd return here.

Central gelegen
Das Hotel liegt sehr central, man fährt mit der Straßenbahn 3 Haltestellen in die City ( Kurzticket 2€). Das Frühstück klein, fein und lecker. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
