Wonderful cottage. Loved the quirkiness due to its age. Nice to have the historical information in the information book. Great garden - certainly secure enough for 2 whippets. Lovely walk straight from the cottage up Smugglers Lane to the fields at the back where we spotted hare and deer - have to be up early for those. (Warning for dog owners - there are ticks up there so make sure you bring a tick removal tool with you). The locals are very friendly and chatty. The cottage was lacking a deep clean (annex was cleaner) - freezer in fridge frozen up, stained carpet in living area and cobwebs, dust which were more than just due to being an old building.
