The Main house at Casa Sea Breeze is built on two levels with 2600 sq ft of living area and has 3 bedrooms each with ensuite. Both levels have balconies or patios, white water ocean views, mountain vista views. This is also where you'll find the main kitchen, dining, living room with a total of four baths. Granite counters, Italian tiles, slate from Brazil, A/C in all rooms, and elegant furnishings make this house a very comfortable place to spend your vacation! The "Poolside Villa" an additional 600 + sq. feet of living space adds a 4th master suite and is included in the listing nightly rate. A generous wrap around balcony overlooks the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains. This addition was constructed of the finest materials using local teak, bamboo, guanacaste, and ron ron wood, along with porcelain tiles, slate, and stone, creating a feeling of warmth and rustic elegance. All of the tropical hardwoods came from local tree plantations and were harvested with the proper permits. The Villa bath has an elegant slate shower, side by side stone sinks, and a commode. The bedroom/living area is spacious and includes A/C, a king size bed, double trundle bed, wardrobe, and comfortable bamboo furnishings. In addition, it has a wet bar area with fridge/microwave, and a full size flatscreen TV with surround sound for your entertainment day or night. A mango tree directly off the balcony invites the monkeys to visit you daily. The 5th BR (additional charge) is in its own full self-contained Casita with private balcony, fully equipped and independent kitchen, living room and bathroom. Set back from the main house it too has gorgeous ocean views and is where the monkeys love to visit every day. The 5 spacious master suites are separated from each other to allow you to retreat or socialize at will. Each includes updated locally crafted furnishings, full bathrooms and are all only steps away from the gorgeous 50' infinity pool. A large covered patio and outdoor kitchen provide the perfect gathering spot to share the day's adventures. The new covered pavilion extends directly from the main house and is steps away from the detached poolside villa and includes: a built-in barbecue/kitchen Island, lounge, and full dining area/table that seats 14, as well as plenty of lighting for evening entertaining. It also features lush gardens that surround our new enchanting teak shower with rain head, perfect for rinsing off after sun bathing or swimming. On the opposite side of the pool is our sunset deck with fireplace where you'll find ample seating for everyone. Sit and enjoy the sunset while sipping on your favorite fresh fruit smoothie or cocktail. The unique layout of our home provides the perfect place for a two or three families with children, five couples, or friends with children who wish to travel together. A perfect wedding venue! Sunsets from the 50 foot infinity pool, balconies, and sunset deck (with fireplace) will captivate you. The rainforest nature reserve and mountains vistas that surround you will warm your hearts. Observe horses grazing in the pasture just below the villa balcony....enjoy toucans coming to visit you poolside.... parrots flying across the jungle. You will never want to leave. Oh, and no worries, a troop of capuchin monkeys won't forget to visit you at Seabreeze almost each and every day!! And of course, you'll enjoy strong and reliable high speed fibre optic wifi service and Netflix in both the main house and the detached poolside villa. At Seabreeze, we are energy conscious. Our solar panels run the entire home, including the pool. We are on track to produce nearly 100% of the electricity consumed here. We are still connected to the grid for rainy days and on sunny days the extra solar production goes back into the local power grid. There is plenty of electricity to power the pool, the property, and to run the AC units in every area of the house. In fact we just installed a new AC system in the living/ kitchen area of the house. Cool off in the 50' infinity edge pool with jacuzzi bench and children's play area. The pool is big enough to swim laps and deep enough for older children and teens to enjoy. For the nature enthusiast, Casa Seabreeze has access to our adjoining 100 acre nature reserve with abundant wildlife and miles of trails through the rainforest. Dominical is the closest town to Casa Seabreeze and has some of the best surfing and eco-tourism activities in the world. Hacienda Baru is close by. It is a 900 acre National Wildlife Reserve that offers canopy tours, zip lines, bird watching, and nature walks led by trained naturalist guides. The Nauyaca waterfall horseback tour is always popular. Manuel Antonio National Park is 25 miles to the north with beautiful beaches and lots of monkeys to watch. Ten miles south is Costa Ballena National Marine Park with miles of beaches and great snorkelling. Fishermen will have a choice of excellent river, surf, inshore, and deep sea fishing out of Marina Pez Vela in Quepos. Sea kayak tours are a fun way to explore sea caves or view wildlife in the Mangroves. Snorkelling/diving at Cano Island is amazing. The location is perfect - secluded, yet only a 15 min drive into Dominical and the beaches. Beautiful ocean views and sunsets. The grounds are even prettier than the pictures and we saw lots of toucans and monkeys. While we did enjoy several excursions, most of our time was spent by (and in) the pool appreciating the amazing scenery. Wil, the property concierge, was also great to deal with. His team booked white water rafting for us and chef services for 3 days. Great food! The house manager made breakfast and dinner for us several nights. There is a lot of wildlife around and you are completely secluded. Be prepared for the mountain drive of your life but it is worth it and you will get used to it. It becomes second nature after the first day, but it is night for the light hearted. It's a great house, the pool was always the perfect temperature and the stars at night are amazing. When you turn off all the lights, you can see the Mily Way. On Whats App the property manager Will answered all questions prior to our stay so we could pack properly, sent information on tours, even set up a tour last minute for us while we were there. Very responsive. The pool man came each day, and Will had him look for my perscription glasses I lost on the trail on the property hiking to the river. Above and beyond!!, Will met us in Dominical and lead us driving to the property. He checked us in late at night 9:30 pm such a breeze. It was magical. The property is breathtaking beautiful and large rooms, beds were comfortable and I'm hard to please in the "mattress" arena, I slept well every night.to rain forest sounds. They had all the towels & beach towels, your need. Toiletries like TP, kleenex, dish/laundy soap, pack n play,were all on site. We purchased food at the local grocery store Kitchen had everything you need! Dirt road to house winds and can be narrow(15 min drive) I was glad we had 4WD, kids had an AWD high clearance it worked too. The house is more than we had hoped for. There was so much wildlife all around us, that we prefered to adventure in the morning and hang at the house by the pool to take in the view and watch all the wildlife that came right too us! Scarlet Macaws , Capicians, tucans, Cotis... So many! The road is a harrowing drive but not bad with a 4WD car. Our only issue was a power outage during a big storm. It didnt bother us mutch but it would be helpful if there were candles or more flashlights and lanterns on hand for the next guests. The working outdoor grill saved our dinner during the power outage though! Our whole family loved every minute of our stay and would love to come back again! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Sea Breeze, and it was nothing short of magical! The owner and her manager Wil were always prompt & helpful with communications. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the home, the lush landscape, and the sense of tranquility. The house itself is beautiful—spacious, and dreamy! If you are looking to relax or for some adventure, you must visit Casa Sea Breeze in Costa Rica! We especially loved having all our meals outside, with the gorgeous view of the surrounding nature. The open-air dining area was ideal for enjoying delicious meals. We were lucky to have the opportunity to enjoy the services of Wil Tours and his family, whom the owner highly recommended. Wil's wife, Kiss, and his sister, Rocio, cooked us some of the most delicious and memorable meals we've ever had. Their beautiful, caring service made us feel so special and at home. Wil and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Horseback riding on the beach, a Mangrove river monkey tour, visits to the beach, shopping, and local restaurants, were all wonderful! The people of Costa Rica are warm and lovely, the food was amazing and the home (and the negative edge pool overlooking the ocean!!) were so incredibly special. The home is more beautiful than the pictures too. We absolutely can't wait to go back to see our new friends in Costa Rica! The outdoor living space and the pool was a hit! You definitely need a 4x4\. This is our 5th time visiting the Dominical Area with a different casa each time and they all have stated that a 4x4 in necessary. In the past the other 4 casa's I've could of done without a 4x4 but not this place, you DEFINITELY need a 4x4\. I'm a very experience driver and had to to engage 4x4 to get up the hill leaving the house. This all said in which made our stay even more epic because you don't hear any neighbors. Wil was awesome. He escorted us to our casa from Dominical. We had a couple minor problems and he addressed them promptly. His employee Oscar made us a breakfast and dinner that was delicious (make sure you have cash to pay). There's a bunch of wildlife around the property. Saw tons of toucans in the valley, especially at first light. Had a coati around the outdoor kitchen the first couple of days that stole one of our bananas :) We had one visit of about 30 capuchins one evening just before dusk. The views are amazing and the pool is heavenly. The house was just perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked and loved the blender, espresso machine and juicer. I'm now a professional mixologist. It was well worth the planning and the wait. Wil and the owner answered our MANY questions and concerns patiently & quickly from the time I booked to departure from Sea Breeze. Wil coordinated our shuttle pick-up at SJO, taxi pick-up in Dominical to Sea Breeze, excursions (ATV, Beach Caves & Waterfalls, Manual Antonio, Ziplining), shuttle back to SJO for flights home. We hired Wil and his staff to cook us breakfast and dinner every day for 7 days. Everyone raved about their delicious meals and how wonderful to not have to cook our own meals, clean-up, or go into town to find a restaurant. What a treat for us. Alex, one of Wils staff, was our guide for Manual Antonio and Waterfalls tour. he was so nice and knowledgeable. we would have never seen sloths, monkeys, iguanas, bats if he hadn't pointed them out to us. Now Sea Breeze. WOW! Everyone had plenty of their own space but spent most days together, laughing, playing board games, watching the gorgeous sunsets, listening to jungle sounds, watching monkeys, toucans, parrots, coati, pacca, the Jesus lizard, the white horse on the neighboring land. The pool was absolutely fantastic. Water so warm and clear and inviting after the long, extremely bumpy ride up and down the mountain road.
