Beach Townhouse, A/C Tortuga (Kitchenette +)

This newer building is a 3 min walk from a gorgeous sand beach that stretches for 30 kms. The sunsets are stunning. Matapalo is a quiet beach town with a few restaurants & small grocery stores. You'll enjoy the nature sounds at night and the many birds and other wildlife like toucans, sloths, monkeys and salamanders. A short drive North is Quepos and Manuel Antonio national Park. 15 min drive South brings you to Dominical, a small and hip surfer town with shops, yoga, restaurants & surf lessons.

Access to your suite, the shared kitchen area and parking lot. No access is permitted to the rest of the property.

If you enjoy experiencing local culture while still enjoying all the comforts of a modern home then this place is for you! World class surfing, boogie boarding, just relaxing on the beach, bird and wildlife watching, horseback riding, zip lining, delicious local food, Western & European cuisine, unique and popular attractions are at your doorstep. Matapalo is a tiny town, with a few small stores. The beach is pristine, yet to be discovered by most travellers. Close by are the popular tourist destinations of Dominical, a quaint surf town, and Manuel Antonio, an internationally renowned Nature Reserve, known for its diverse wildlife and active restaurant and bar scene. The local restaurants near Matapalo serve delicious food. The nearest "large town" is Quepos, about a 20mn drive away. This is where you will find large supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing stores, hospital, clinic, dentist and so on and an airstrip serviced by Sansa Air to San Jose.

A car is the most convenient way to get around but there is local transit or taxi services. Ask Fatima for advice.
Smoking outside only in designated areas. Dogs are permitted but we need to know ahead and you must have bedding blanket for the dog to sleep on. If the dog lays on the bed and it can not be cleaned we will charge $100 to replace the bedding.
