This is revealed by its gorgeous original hardwood floors, high ceilings, pronounced trim, and unique fireplaces. When you arrive you are immediately drawn in by the warm and inviting interior, professionally designed by Robin Michie. This downtown home right in the heart of Savannah's Historic District is within walking distance of everything! SVR-02177 The Space: Very generous in size, the house has plenty of living space inside and out. We offer a master king room with walk-in tile shower and 2 queen rooms with a shared hall bath. Each room has plenty of closet space. There is a screened-in-porch on the east side of the building and a huge outdoor rear patio equipped with a propane grill and plenty of seating room. We have a fully equipped kitchen with lots of counter top space perfect for those who like to cook. The main living room has plenty of space to relax and unwind in. There is a large smart TV with a booming soundbar if you're here while your favorite sports team is playing! If you are one of the unfortunate people who has work to do while on vacation, do not fear, we have a great WiFi connection. There are also plenty of wine glasses in the dining room kitchen for when you're done. We also offer a full washer/dryer (free) in the laundry room by the kitchen. Guest Access: You are welcome to use every inch of the house. There is a utility/housekeeping closet by the kitchen that is locked up and off-limits, but other than that it is all yours. Please be gentle with our furniture as the owners have put a lot of time and energy into making this place somewhere you can call your home away from home. Again, there is a full laundry room with a washer/dryer should you need it while you are here. The Neighborhood: We are in the heart of Savannah's Downtown Historic District. The neighborhood is not in the center of the busy tourist traffic, so it is rather calm at night. We are just a couple of houses down from Whitefield Square, one of the most hidden gems of Savannah. Bring a "to-go" cup with you and go have a nice picnic right in the square or have your picture taken under its quaint gazebo. Getting Around: There is a FREE shuttle bus called the Dot bus (purple/green) that picks up just three blocks away and takes you up and down the Historic District and all around Forsyth Park. Other Things to Note: Please be respectful of your neighbors and keep noise/volume down outside in the patio after 10pm. We share the City parking area so just try to be courteous when parking and leave enough space for the neighbors. Interaction with Guests: We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don't live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know. The house was so charming, full of character, and clean! The communication was excellent and timely! The wifi connection was perfect and we had no issues with 4 of us connected and a firestick for the tv! There were plenty of towels provided, including a makeup remover towel, and there were soaps, shampoo, and conditioner in pump bottles...not little samples to fumble with. The water pressure was awesome! No trickling showers here! The beds slept comfortably, and I'm one that struggles with finding this traveling. There was a lot of space for our groceries in the pantry and full size refrigerator, so we didn't have to leave it on the counters. There was both a Keurig and a coffee maker with carafe, along with coffee and pods for both, and sugars and creamers. There were plenty of dishes available so we didn't have to purchase any plasticware, and there's basic oils and seasonings for cooking. The outside patio was so adorable and cozy with the cafe lights, table and seating area. The location was great and in a quiet neighborhood and the parking area allowed us to park right at the entry gate to the house and off the street. We were here to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday with a girls' trip for a long weekend and we had the best time!!!!! Thank you for hosting us!!!! We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely authentically historic home in the center of Savannah. We were able to easily walk to beautiful parks, coffee shop, and other areas of Savannah. This is a historical and accordingly has a few quirks, but that’s what makes it unique and special. ##### Julie B.
