This third-floor apartment boasts a spacious living room, formal dining room, full kitchen, and three bedrooms. Enter into the light-filled apartment and immediately notice the tall ceilings and charming decor. Now-decorative fireplaces anchor each space and are complimented with modern conveniences like wall-mounted flat screen TVs. The living room sofa pulls out to a Queen sleeper. Adjacent to the living room is a formal dining area, its table comfortably seating six. Just beyond, the well-equipped kitchen with two more bar stools at the island. Expect every essential you'd need to whip up a meal, including stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The primary bedroom has a King size bed with flat screen TV. A generous walk-in closet connects the bedroom to an en suite bath with large standing shower. On the South end of the apartment facing Wright Square, the other two bedrooms mirror each other. Both boast King size beds with hotel-grade linens, and come equipped with flat screen TVs and ample storage space. These two bedrooms share a full bath down the hall. Wright Square is considered by many to be an epicenter of downtown, as it is situated on Bull Street near Broughton. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The only issue we had was in regards to the elevator. It was not mentioned in the listing but since we were on the 3rd floor we were happy to see it to help get our bags and a sleeping baby upstairs. Until at one point a few family members were inside the elevator and the doors wouldn’t open for about 10 minutes. Slightly unnerved we called the rental company and they said it wasn’t operational and we shouldn’t be using it. You can walk to all the sights in the historic district. Lots of great restaurants within a few hundred feet of the apartment. You get to enjoy church bells from 8AM until the evening - so you have a natural alarm clock. Kitchen is fine for quick easy cooking. The grocery store is 1.5 miles away and an easy drive. Beds are comfortable and had plenty of pillows. Just know it is on the 3rd floor. There is a little service elevator by the back where the 1 parking space is. It is a 3rd floor apartment, but there is a small elevator next to the 1 parking space that comes with the apartment. Plenty of parking garages near by for the other drivers, and it was reasonable. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a girls' family 3 generation trip! Our group of 6 ages 13-69 had a wonderful time in Savannah. The Percival was exactly as described, very clean, well equipped with the perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted from Broughton Street shops to River Street to many restaurants and the different squares. We all took the Savannah Cultural and Culinary food tour and thought it was great! The food was delicious and our tour guide very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. There is a CVS located within a 1/2 block of this rental which was great for getting a few food and drink items. The three bedrooms with king-size beds worked out great. Although this is also a "con", since it can get really noisy overnight (like late night partiers & early morning dumpster pickups!) Our biggest complaint was that the elevator did not work. We had agreed to rent a 3rd floor apartment since we were told it had an elevator - our group was aged 63-75 and we didn't want to continually walk up and down 3 flights of stairs, especially when it came to lugging heavy suitcases & groceries! Another complaint is that the sofa bed is very old and not comfortable at all. Also, although the claw-foot tub is nice, it was not a safe option for us taking showers and all 4 of us had to share the shower in the master bedroom. The location is fantastic and the management company is very responsive. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and the unit was missing many basic kitchen items, but the company brought most of the items we needed in time. The elevator worked well, and was key for our group, which included folks with mobility issues. However, there are many things that need improvement. The unit was not clean, and it needs a ton of maintenance. Doorknobs off. Nonworking outlets, switches and lights. Broken hair dryer, broken blinds. Visible dust on surfaces, floor that had not been mopped, dirty toilet, and a couch with multiple stains. The beds are quite comfortable, but the pillows are not. ##### Kendra C. Overall it was clean, and comfortable for our multigenerational crew. However, we were extremely disappointed that the listing does not clearly state that the unit is on the third floor. I learned of this only a few days before we were set to arrive— and only because I read reviews trying to figure out amenities. Additionally the elevator is not operable— which is also not clearly disclosed in the listing. When I inquired the host responded as if it had recently broken when reviews indicate it has been inoperable for over 6 months. By the time we were aware, we were beyond the cancellation period. The stairs were a real struggle for an older member of our party and kept her from wanting to venture out more. Also- there is a back staircase we discovered during our stay that has stairs that are somewhat easier to navigate, but it doesn’t appear they are accessible from outside.We would stay again if we didn’t have an older person with mobility issues in our party, but the price seems high given the inconvenience and nondisclosure. ##### carrie m.
