Only minor issue is that they don't have mini fridges nor vending. They DID however offer free bags of ice to utilize the nice-sized ice buckets in the room. Staff was very friendly, and they had a pianist in the lobby in the weekend evenings...how lovely.

Great location! Olde Pink House is next door and has excellent food. When we'd return to the hotel at night there was always a selection of cookies which was nice to come back to. However upon check-in our room was not very clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor and the bathroom mirror had what appeared to be toothpaste from someone messily brushing on it, which was pretty gross. But other than that, everything else appeared clean and we didn't have any further issues.

This property is in a perfect location and a 5 minute walk to River Street and City Market. The rooms are very pretty, beds are very comfortable. The staff are all bery friendly and responwhen we asked for anything. The valet Carl is very friendly. There are restaurants all withing 5 minute wak. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Savannah.

The location in the historical district was very convenient. The parking was expensive. The room conditions were substandard - broken bed post finial and torn draperies. The bed was squeaky. The mattress was adjusted after we requested a change, but it was not great. (The mattress was soft, causing a body shift to the middle.) The bath drain was clogged when we arrived. It was nice having coffee and cookies, but it would've been nice to have dining or continental breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely room overlooking the square. The staff easily took care of parking in the adjacent garage & alerted us to the brreakfast place around the corner. The attractive lobby was too cold, however, to want to stay long. Easy walking to restaurants nearby. Didn't need the car due to the free trolley.

First of all, we cannot say enough good things about the staff!! So attentive and nice. Really made our stay. The hotel is so convenient to everything. It is just feeling a bit tired. Worn curtains, no tv remote. Noisy plumbing and lamps that don’t work. I think the facility needs a refresh. Add that to the great staff and you would have a 5 star hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel for over thirty years. We really have loved the hotel and hate to have to give any negative comments. The staff is always amazing. It is in a fantastic location.However the property has not received any major updates and is showing its age and neglect and is needing major renovations. There are newer hotels around the area that are much better condition, offer more amenities at comparable rates.
