This location is in a gorgeous prime spot in Savannah's busy Historic District, making the parking spot highly valuable. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and tourist attractions! We have free wifi. Check in time is 3:00pm or later. Checkout is by 11:00am. No smoking. No Pets Steps from Perry Lane Hotel with its gorgeous rooftop bar and ground level restaurant. 'The Public Kitchen and Bar' at 1 W Liberty is 0.2 miles away or a 4 minute stroll. They serve gourmet local cuisine, designer cocktails, wine & cheese, steaks, burgers and vegetarian items. J Christopher's' is a yummy breakfast, brunch and lunch spot. Parking was a breeze. If you are planning on renting a car so you can get to Ebenezer Creek, drive through the wildlife reserve, get out to Boneventure Cemetery, or Tybee Island, you will love the included off street parking here. It is also walking distance to all of the historic district. We loved how central it is. There are some great coffee shops and restaurants just around the corner or down the street. The room was quite clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The living room is spacious and comfortable as well. The bathroom was functional, if a little musty. There were three minor issues that we had. First, the electrical for the laundry washer and dryer/refrigerator was kind of hanging out of the wall and didn’t seem quite finished, so you need to be careful about it. Fortunately it is mostly blocked off by the appliances. Second, the water filter spout that they had next to the kitchen sink was actually attached to the dishwasher drainage rather than the actual water supply. Finally, the shower/tub are is not fully caulked and there are gaps in the exposed drywall, so be sure to check for mold. The good thing is that they keep the place pretty well ventilated. Overall our stay here was great and we had a very fun time. The manager was very quick to respond and had some great recommendations. ##### Daniel F. We did not eat to stay down by the river but a simple walk from here does it…with plenty of places to stop along the way if you want to. We did not come to town to cook so we can’t speak to how the kitchen was supplied - all we used were coffee cups and wine glasses. Comfortable bed in a quiet neighborhood with a meat cemetery right across the street. Older house so don’t expect “knock you down” water pressure but if gets he job done. The apartment is gorgeous, and smack dab in the middle of the historic district. We walked to all our destinations within 15 minutes, and both of our walking tours went right by the building because it's across the street from Colonial Park Cemetery. The parking space in back also cannot be underestimated. Other than a trip to the beach, and to Bonaventure Cemetery, we just left our car parked for 3 days without having to pay for any parking. This property is within walking distance to restaurants and the riverfront. IF you are looking for a stay within the historic district, this is the perfect location. The parking spot for the apartment is a plus as you do not need to move your vehicle if you are active and can walk a couple of blocks to get to everything. There are very good restaurants within a block of the apartment with plenty of variety to choose from.There were a couple of things about the apartment that need a little attention. The drain for the shower is slow to drain and water backs up in the tub when taking a shower. The toilet could also use a little attention as well as it seems to be dated and slow to work sometimes. The apartment was very comfortable, and my husband and I had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again. The location was excellent and was very walkable to most attractions and restaurants. The apartment was cozy with a very comfortable bed. It was also very quiet and peaceful in the evenings which we really appreciated. We were a little concerned by the steps when we booked the property, but happily they proved to be no problem. Finally, we loved the fact of the on-site parking spot since parking is such a premium in Savannah. ##### Marilyn D. Added plus is the provided parking space. Apartment was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Love all the old woodwork. It is also at one of the Old Town Trolley stops making it very convenient. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Savannah! ##### Diane T.
