I would have preferred to be further into the historic district. This property is on the edge of Forsyth park a few blocks from the fountain. So much history and well kept up. Right within walking distance of downtown and lots of beautiful parks. I felt safe and as a female traveler this is important. The entry lock did not work, batteries were dead and that made me nervous at the start of our trip, but we had a timely response in fixing it. Only thing I would like to note is because it is a very old house you can hear everyone else's noise. There was a loud big dog for several of the days and that was rough on sleeping.
