Ideal Location on Jones Street in the Historic District! Sit in rocking chairs on the side porch and relax! Amazing Value! King Bed in Master, King bedroom with access to private 3rd story porch, Pullout sofa in sunroom! From the moment you set foot in this gorgeous Savannah Brick townhouse you will feel the like an authentic Savannah native. This home is furnished with comfortable contemporary furniture along with beautiful antiques and decorated with genuine Savannah memorabilia and art, including historical information about this very house. Situated in an ideal spot between Forsyth Park and River St, this home is convenient to a large grocery store (Kroger), restaurants and many shops. Parking is free and easy on the street outside this home. This is a 3-story classic townhouse with a separate apartment on the ground level (not part of this listing) and the 'main house' which is this listing is comprised of floors 2 and 3\. There are 2 Bedrooms upstairs and 2 full bathrooms! One bathroom is en suite with the back bedroom and the other is off the hallway. There is also an office upstairs with a futon where one person could sleep. A half bathroom is downstairs next to the kitchen. There is a pullout sofa bed in the back den 'sun room' behind the kitchen area. With this home, guests who want genuine Historic Savannah 'charm' have a fantastic option. The first being in Atlanta. We very much enjoyed this home more than any. It's a great home and to have the room when you're on the road for this long or longer. We so appreciate it. We will be a regular to Savannah due to Reagan ( my daughter) continued advancement with SCAD. We call her Rea. she started this journey at (14) years old. Jackson my son (14) and myself come very year. Next year we will be there (5) weeks if all goes to plan for Rea. Rea will have 2/3rds of her Sophomore year complete with Scad when she graduates High School in 2027\. Again, thank you for sharing your home with us. Five minutes in an Uber to the waterfront for dinner, and the most magnificent one and a half hour walk back after drinks.With old Savannah charm this property sits perfectly placed close enough to everything but far enough away from the chaos.I’ve been to Savannah several times, but truly enjoyed this property and its location. The antiques, china and family photos really made it feel like you were staying in a piece of history. We enjoyed having morning coffee and evening wine on the veranda.
