You’ll enter into the foyer, which has stairs leading to the second floor, a hallway that leads back to the kitchen, and opens to the living room to your right. Past the living room is the dining room with seating for six. The upgraded kitchen has a convenient island with stools and a breakfast nook. Enjoy your morning coffee in a rocking chair on your private porch just off the kitchen. Upstairs you’ll find three beautiful bedrooms. The bedroom at the top of the stairs has two twin beds, perfect for families with children. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own private porch. These two bedrooms share a bath, which has a wonderful clawfoot tub. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, television, and ensuite bath with a double vanity and huge shower with built-in seating. Nearby dining favorites include Mrs. Wilkes Dining House, where you’ll find some of the best Southern home cooking in the city, and the Crystal Beer Parlor, Savannah’s oldest restaurant. You’ll also be a short walk from Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest park and popular location for weddings, music and food festivals. The home is in the western historic district. It is merely a few minutes drive to the heart of the historic River Street district and only two blocks walk to the iconic Forsyth Park. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay immensely. We look forward to staying here, again. Tree lined streets, interesting architecture and a beautiful park just a couple of blocks away. It is absolutely as described and pictured. We discovered a Whole Foods about a 10 minute ride away - which was great. It's a great walking area. It was me, my daughter and her 5 year old. He loved the house and was sad to leave! Full kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware and utensils. Full size fridge. Washer and dryer. So clean you could eat off the floors! Street parking was easy. The area is quiet day and night. When we arrived and didn't have the code for the front door - they had texted us but it hadn't arrived, we called and the office texted again instantly. This house is located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood just a mile walk from the Savannah River. It was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, the house felt large enough for the six of us, and we enjoyed touring the city without having to use our car. ##### Clifford J. Five family members (all adults) spent a long weekend in Savannah. The house was perfect for our group and in a great location. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go and it was a short drive to get to Tybee Island. Very close to Forsyth Park, great restaurants, and coffee shops! Very clean, excellent location (3 minute walk to park, 5 minute walk to Kroger’s and 15 to the Riverwalk). The folks at Lucky Savannah were top notch - we had a couple of glitches on our end and they handled them quickly and professionally. I would definitely stay at this home again or at any of the other ones under their management. My only recommendation would be to replace the shower heads in both bathrooms as the water flow from them is very weak. Other than that, zero issues or complaints. 10/10! ##### Carl K. The check in process was super easy and we all loved the beautiful historic home! House was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen had most everything we needed, and the location was within walking distance to all the things we wanted to do! Property manager was responsive and helpful. Overall an absolutely lovely experience!! Highly recommend, would happily stay at Oak Manor again! ##### Julie C. Four moms and two young adult daughters of one of the moms. We all thought the house was a charming lovely house. We all thought the beds were very comfortable as well. We did however feel that seating in the living room could be more equipped for a larger amount of people. It was hard for 6 people to comfortably watch a movie. We also thought the cleaning people should really do a better job, surfaces felt sticky, like counter tops, stair railing etc. and there a certainly surfaces that never get cleaned, like light fixtures, pictures, behind furniture, baseboards window sills cabinets and other wood work. The tables in the living room also had loose legs on them and needed to be tightened, We would have done this, but had no tools. Over all it was good just needs some TLC. ##### Deanne D.
